great location, quiet, easy to access.

my two suggestions would be to add wine glasses into the rooms as most people on a stay away would love a glass of wine. and in the queen rooms, an accessible outlet to plug phone chargers into that’s near the bed would be wonderful! I had to climb under the bed to access the board that was nailed to the wall under the centre of the bed. It’s nothing major but I use my phone as a clock :) otherwise an excellent option we will definitely use again!

The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. We were to arrive much later than expected so I phoned the office who made arrangements for a seamless check-in after hours. It was very cold, dark and rainy, but when we reached our room the aircon was warm within a few minutes. The shower was lovely and hot with all toiletries needed. We were able to make cups of tea and coffee, with milk and biscuits provided. There was also a microwave and fridge. Everything was scrupulously clean. We then snuggled into fresh, warm, very comfortable beds and had a wonderful restful night. The Royal Hotel is within easy walking distance where the meals were great. Macca's is also within walking distance.

I really appreciated the easy late check-in, being able to plug in our electric car to an external plug for a little extra charge overnight, and the family room was set out well with comfortable beds. Perfect for our quick stop on our long drive. I wonder if the owners might like to consider installing a rapid EV charger - there aren't many in the area at all & it could bring more business!

The room was very clean. It was two bedrooms and had a huge tv in each room. The kitchen area was unexpected so was a great little bonus.

Usually there is a book with things to do in the area and menus to local restaurants which was missing. This is the only thing we could fault.

I liked the location, although on main road, it was quiet. Walking distance to meals. The room was spotless, bed very comfy and very nice hot shower. Only there one night, and had a great hot bekkie brought to the room. liked it a lot.

The location was very handy. The room was clean and it was great to have the option of separate rooms for children and adults.

The only thing that was a little odd, was that there was no sink in the bathroom. There was however a sink in the very nice kitchenette.

Exactly as expected, simple, clean room. Staff had the heater on for us upon arrival. Had a good nights sleep after arriving late (staff competently sending though after hours instruction) and continued on our journey. Perfect, thanks guys.

Considering the fact that they were flooded out in the recent past ,the motel was spotless & the owners were eager to help. I always say when you are passing through, that as long as the beds are comfortable & the shower is hot ,that is all you need! The Wattle satisfied our requirements admirably !

Nothing really!

The room was perfect, separate bedroom for the kids, separate kitchen, huge TV in the main bedroom, plus a smaller one in the kids room.

There was no sink in the bathroom, so had to brush our teeth at the kitchen sink.

From the outside, we wern't sure what we were in for....however the initial greeting was warm and welcoming and our room was extremely clean and comfortable. The young owners have done a fantastic job in upgrading the motel
