Sleepwell Motel

Staff were friendly and helpful It was close to where I needed to go and also close to the town but still quiet area. Had a spa and indoor pool Could wash and dry clothes there which was perfect

Didnt realise had to book in for breakfast in the restaurant but I do now That the room I was in had a big red stain in the carpet that needs addressing or covered and that had to wash dishes in bathroom sink which was abit strange for my customs. Pool was abit cold for a heated pool in winter Other then that I enjoyed my stay

Shower was good and it was nice to have the toilet closed off from the bathroom.

We booked a room for a Couple however, there was also a single bed in the room. If the single bed had not been there, then the room would have been more spacious and could have accommodated a table for instance. I asked at reception about places to dine for an evening meal and was given a list which was terribly out of date. It would be a good idea if the people running the motel could get a more up-to-date list especially when guests are travellers and don't know the area.

I booked the double studio room which was adequate for needs. There is TV, WIFI, plenty of hot water, water pressure is strong. It was surprisingly quiet at night and we didn't have any trouble sleeping. The location was very accessible, close to the shops. Breakfast is included, which was a continental buffet. Fridge in room, bread toaster, electric kettle, which were handy. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash gel were provided which was nice.

The motel provided all that I required for my first trip to Albany. A clean, comfortable motel room with all facilities that I would need within the room, very quiet at night, convenient to travel to the city centre which was quite close, a very good breakfast, and very helpful and friendly staff. A really pleasant and wonderful experience for my first trip to Albany.

Clean and tidy - easy to reach items. Bathroom clean also. Enjoyed the pool and spa area. Very accommodating in the room which was provided (mobility issues). Enjoyed the variety at breakfast. Happy with shower and toiletries provided. When we left items behind we were contacted immediately to retrieve them.

No comfy chairs to sit on or place bags on etc in the room, other than hard dining chairs. Very short cords on Kettle and Toaster making it hard to use.

The first thing you notice was how clean everything was, from the front porch to the bathroom. The facilities in the room were great even though I did not use them. Microwave, toaster, plates, cutlery and tea towel.

The only thing I can comment on is the mattress, not good quality but for a holiday it is acceptable.

Convenient location, clean and tidy. We had stayed here before and found it to be very comfortable.

We felt it was overpriced for what it was, although likely due to the time of the year. One tap was hard to turn off and on without it dripping and one of the power points didn’t work so we had to boil the kettle in the bathroom. Small inconveniences but, for the cost, one would expect things to be well maintained.

As we had car issues on the trip down, we were a bit stressed. Igor went out of his way to help us get back on track with help, suggestions and advice. He even offered to drive us to the mechanic. Outstanding empathy was shown by both Igor and his Wife. Very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and the Resturant was lovely. Delicious cooked breakfast, with a great choice of pastries and sides.

There was nothing I could fault at this motel.

I stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful sleep. The room was very clean and tidy and the staff helpful.

That smoking was allowed on the verandah in front of the units. I had to walk past a smoker and did not like that. I believe smokers should walk to the nearby roadway.

Staff is friendly and helpful. I accidentally booked 2-bed room, but on my request I was provided queen room without any extra cost. Room was super clean and all the amenities were in place as specified. What surprised me is that they have a separate toilet with its own door. So, one can easily do his business without blocking bath and sink area.

Breakfast. There was an extra $10 charge for ordering anything hot. The continental breakfast didn't have anything hot included by default.
