If you are in Linz for a festival choose this modern design hotel above all the others in the centre of town. Why? Because it has the best Italian restaurant in Upper Austria on the ground floor. Giulio's is a perfect place for dinner with business partners. Excellent "Michelin star" menu, at reasonable prices and excellent. motivated staff. The same restaurant also provides an extensive Italian-style breakfast for a very reasonable price. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel is located in the Linz suburb of Ebelsberg, about a 10-minute direct tram ride from the city centre. Trams every 5 minutes on weekdays marked Number 2 Solar City. Festival goers get free public transport. Fast transfer to the local airport takes about 20 minutes.

The hotel should explain more about the excellent restaurant they have on the premises. The check-in desk is not 24 hrs, so arrange everything the night before departure. Check out is by 11 am. There is an automated left luggage machine in the basement. Works well, but remember to photograph the code you are given because otherwise you will be in trouble. The instructions for this machine should be explained at check-in.

The design of the hotel was excellent as were the decorative pieces around the hotel. It was great to see a concrete staircase and I particularly loved the industrial look. The use of LED lights around the hotel and inside the room are spectacular. The design and layout of the rooms have clearly been thought out, this was evident in the space between the curtains and the window where a desk and sitting area had been integrated into the area. The shower was superb and of high quality as was the shower gel/shampoo.

We arrived quite late so there wasn't much time to evaluate the whole area. We needed to eat but the restaurant had stopped serving. I asked the staff member if there was anywhere local and she explained that the "street food" was not that good. We ventured out and quickly located a hole-in-the-wall pizza/kebab shop with an extremely happy gentleman who invited us in. I enjoy supporting local businesses but maybe this isn't the same in Austria. You have to pay €20 (I think) but you have to do this by using a machine downstairs which was quite difficult to understand.

I needed something that was not city center as I was leaving next morning and wanted to avoid traffic. There is a very popular restaurant onsite, full house on Friday evening. Good atmosphere in the bar. Not a lot around. Unfortunately have not had breakfast so can not comment on food.

Room could do with some additional cleaning. Parking -- not sure if this is hotel's or public, seems to be similar price as city center. I believe this is a bit much. Only English channels - are news ones.

I was here for the third time and as always, everything was fine. I didn't try the breakfast, so I can't rate it. The comfort of the room and bed is excellent. All that is needed for one night, although without a refrigerator. Smart TV available. Possibility of parking in the underground garage for 15 Euros per night. Even if you do not use breakfast at the hotel, there are options for breakfast coffee in the vicinity of the hotel.

Very nice hotel, good parking, great pizza at the restaurant downstairs, everything as expected

We booked a room with a sofa bed which - according to the photos and description - should have been 160 x 200 cm. We thought one small kid and an adult would fit. Instead, the sofa bed was a small futon, hardly adequate for a tall adult (certainly not 200cm long). When we arrived it was too late in the night and the kids were already tired, so we didn't make a fuss about it, but I will address this with the hotel separately.

Ambitious design, pleasant atmosphere, nice location (although not central).

There are no doors at the bathroom! I understand this is a design thing, but, in practical terms, this is indeed very uncomfortable. The shower’s semi-transparent window to the room doesn’t help either.

The restaurant was perfect delicious foods and friendly staff, fast service. Parking at the hotel , pet friendly hotel. Very luxurious!

The airco was not working perfectly, we couldn’t get the temperature under 22 degrees. The room was very clean but somehow there were some ants inside of the room which I didn’t like too much.

The room was very clean and pretty confortable. Modern design, nice hotel. It's OK for a night or two.

The design of the room is nice but not cosy, I would say rather austere. Also the room was a bit small and ther is no door between the bathroom and the room (we had the medium double room). Breakfast is not included and I find it pretty expensive (eventually we didn't take it, so I don't know if it's OK or not).

Breakfast in this hotel is 10/10. It could easily compete with larger hotel chains. Good location directly next to train station, and only 10 minutes of walk to city center with restaurants.

Room was designed nicely, however smelly, slightly outdated and with open bathroom/toilet concept. I don't recommend this room when you travel with spouse, as far as there is window between bedroom and shower/toilet area = no privacy.
