Stadtoase Kolping Hotel

The room was big, very clean and had a comfortable king-size bed. Hotel staff was more than kind and breakfast was a delight. I highly recommend this location.

A pleasant hotel, easily found in the centre of Linz. The hotel had parking on site and moving from the car park to reception and on to the rooms was particularly easy and I imagine would be the same for anyone with a disability. The staff were friendly and we were made welcome after a late arrival. The staff checking us out in the morning were also helpful and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and quiet, with a good level of space and facilities. Didn't try the dining room but I would anticipate a good standard based on everything else that I saw.

The hotel is in the city centre in a quiet street, with shops, restaurants and public transport within walking distance. The room was spacious enough (for one child and two adults). Breakfast was great, great selection, always replenished, breakfast room was full but everyone found a place to sit. There is no minibar in the rooms, but there is a fridge in the common areas where you can buy drinks and some snacks.

Everything was perfect.

Location is central, everything is quite near- city centre, the main railway station - a ten- minute walk. The cathedral is a stone’ s throw from the hotel. The room is nice, beds are extra comfy. Breakfast is delicious- there ´s a variety of breads, fruits, veggies, cheeses etc. - there’ s also a fresh fruit squeezer. A variety of teas and coffees is available every day. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean.

The wi- fi didn’ t work well in room 210.

totally amazing breakfast, one of the best I have ever experienced very nice staff who prepared bed for baby for us before arrival parking options (garage for fee, or for free on the street during Sundays and Saturdays from noon) perfect central location

Excellent breakfast, amazing service, attention to keeping food replenished and seating area immaculate. Staff was friendly, spoke many languages. Refrigerator in room, AC nice and cool, FREE WIFI, fast, efficient elevators, quiet neighborhood. Green approach to housekeeping and energy conservation. As a mature female Solo Traveler, I felt safe, staff was helpful, protective. BRAVO!

The quest for ICE cubes! It was hottest temperatures in 100 years! It was a daily challenge to find ANY in the hotel for 4 days. With persistence with FrontDesk staff, I managed to get ONE glass of ice each day!

The breakfast was excellent!!! Best one for my taste so far. Lots of variety, There’s even a juice press to make ur own veggie smoothie! Also the staff was very nice :)

The beds were not clean enough, hair of other person in my bedsheets. Unfortunately the mattress was not comfortable for me, way too soft but that’s just my taste. The cleaning lady stormed into my room in the morning saying out loud “what’s happening in here” lol I was still sleeping that’s what’s happening 😆

I loved the breakfast options - it was a nice and healthy variation, good coffee and even the possibility to make your own juice and waffles. The hotel itself was cozy and really nice with calming colours and a great staff.

That the bathroom "door" is just a sliding glass which gets stuck and is hard to push open and close and then it doesn't even closes all the way - so there is literally NO privacy if you go to the toilet which is really nothing I want to experience when traveling with friends, no matter how close we are.
