The room was good and the shower was almost like a spa (strong water flow). Breakfast was delicious and with a lot of options. The coffee was very good. Location is fantastic, walking distance from the main train station, from the bus stop to take the bus to Spitz and Durstain, and also close to the stop to take te Danube mini cruise boat. The room had a ceiling window with a view to Melk Abbey. The restaurant offers good traditional and local meals for dinner.

The room had few sockets, and none on the bedside. That was a bit inconvenient but not a big problem.

Very nice location, close to Melk Monastery and city center. Plenty of parking and public parking nearby. Breakfast was correct, rooms and bathrooms very clean, personnel very nice and polite.

One room was on the top floor, just under the roof, and it was extremely hot inside, 28-29 degrees. No air conditioning just one very squeaky ventilator that didn't help much.

Room was beautiful as on the pictures and clean, all stuff were nice and helpful. Location is perfect in the centre but in quiet part, close to the amazing monastery. Breakfasts were delicious with so many type of food. Especially scrambled eggs were not dry like in the most hotels. Parking is big enough and for free.

The bathroom is not very good for wheelchair user: - there isn't a chair in the shower (I took a chair by the room) - there isn't sink in the wc (bidet) - there is only one handle close to the wc - sink is not comfortable to use in wheelchair The floor of the room is carpeted

Great location, in the centre of Melk, but still quiet place. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Available and comfortably parking in the hotel. Additional storage available for bicycles.

No common area, except of the restaurant, where bigger group can meet and/or spend some time. The room was w-o balcony.

Very comfortable clean and spacious room, the crew was friendly and helpful. We were bit late to check in, the receptionist waited for us. The breakfast was varied with extra fresh breads, good coffee! The abbey was 5 minutes on foot.

The location of the hotel is ideal for visiting the town and the monastery.

The hotel car park was full, fortunately there was another car park next door, where it was not paid at the weekend. Unfortunately, it happened to us that we additionally ordered one more room for 4 rooms and the booking did not pass on our request to the hotel. At the same time, we had it stated in the application as accepted. Breakfast could also be more varied. Only scrambled eggs were hot food. I think sausages and bacon is already quite standard, especially for the price of accommodation.

I have stayed at this location in the past and while it was not bad, it was not especially good either. This time all was great. Room was clean and comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was really good and quite varied. The location is amongst the best in Melk. Also, very good parking options are available, free of charge.
