The hotel is located a few minutes from the main road. If you are on your way to Croatia /Italy it's a perfect spot. The hotel is traditional with a lovely welcoming atmosphere. There is a lovely garden where you can have your breakfast in a sunny day. Restaurant is just opposite the hotel. The breakfast was just a perfect buffet with vegan options plus plant based milk. Possibility to receive a coffee and breakfast on the go. There is also a lift what can be useful if you have a few bags or if someone is disabled. Staff is super friendly and very helpful. Everything was just great!

On behalf of my mother who stayed: the staff were very helpful and friendly, the breakfast filling and location was ideal for her visiting reason. There's a train station close by so it is still accessible by those without cars. Though no kettle provided in her single room, which is as stated in the room description, she was able to request hot water easily from downstairs.

A personal preference, though in a way keeping with the aesthetics and feel of the hotel, the hotel room-key chain was a tad too bulky and heavy to carry around all day.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and even provided great recommendations for trips in the area. We would also recommend having breakfast in-house, since there was plenty of food to choose from (including some vegan options as well!), a variety of teas, cereal, eggs and fruit. Families with kids should definitely give the Fairytale Forrest situated behind the hotel a try, there are cute little attractions to look at and learn from. Overall, we had a lovely stay!

We came there with six motorbikes and the friendly staff immediately offered us to park them behind the hedge, so they wouldn't be visible from the main road. The hotel is a great place for relaxation. Inside it offers a wellness and outside a big, quiet park under the trees. In a separate building there is the hotel restaurant where we went to have a delicious dinner. The breakfast was also delicious.

Room was spacious with own entrance to back yard garden (ideal when travelling with a dog). Staff was really friendly. Breakfast was great (best during our drive across eastern Europe), with lots of choice. Restaurant next door very local style but good food, dogs allowed also to restaurant. This hotel is great especially for short stay (may be longer stay as well), easy access from motorway, but quiet location still.

Carpet flooring, not ideal with a dog, not a problem to us, but for cleaners... Sitting chairs and table in the 'hall part' of the room, not in the main room (again not a problem, but funny).

Good location, close to a lot of nice places to visit. Nice and tasty buffet breakfast huge variety lactose/gluten-free and vegan food as well. Very nice and huge garden for the kids. Good wifi. Very helpful staff who helped in many ways.

The room with three beds is smaller than expected. There are no much free space, there were only a tiny table and two chairs, not suitable for even a card game. The same for the balcony with only two chairs. The road side room are quite noisy weekdays.

Great location in a forest next to the highway - perfect for a short stop. Pets allowed, and you can take your dog for a walk in the small garden next to the hotel. Good restauraunt at the same location. Good breakfast.

Almost nothing. Hotel and rooms are a bit worn out but clean and comfortable.

The breakfast and the restaurant is really good, parking is great. The location was good for us, heading for a hike in the mountains in the near.

The furniture in the room and the bathroom was a little old, a good deep cleaning once in a while would be great. The carpet of the couch was dirty.

I heartily recommend the Hotel Restaurant Schwartz. We stayed in a room with air conditioning, facing the garden. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the service was very nice. The hotel has an elevator. The price of the room also included a very tasty breakfast buffet. It is worth trying the local delicacies in the restaurant located in front of the hotel.

It is a pity that only some of the rooms have air conditioning and a balcony
