We really appreciated the thoughtful touches at harry's home in Steyr. Our room had a kitchenette which had all we needed to make a breakfast, heat a meal etc. The room was spacious, with a separate space for hanging clothes and storing luggage etc We noticed there were common areas on each floor where you could make a cup of tea or coffee if you didn't have a kitchen in your room. The laundry was well designed, clearly labelled and a real bonus, even a basin for hand washing if needed. We recommend this especially for long term travellers. Located just above the old town so a very convenient location.

Service at the reception (except the head of the staff) could be more friendly and take guest as the guest not like disturbing. More smile should be better and solve more than strictly saying no or I do not know why and/or its problem yours and booking.com, not us. I have also never met that the service refused to give me small Beer and Glass of wine 15 minute before oficial opening hours of the bar. Which is changed from day to day. Who from one ore two day guests has it know without any announcement from the sice of the staff. One unpolite receptionist could change mind from perfect accommodation, room as well as beaty city.

Staff was incredibly friendly! Upon check-out, we mentioned the hazzle it had been to get into the bike storage room and were quickly informed that they were in the process of installing a key-card based lock. We sugessted that it would be nice to be able to rent a child-seat along with their e-bikes and they (who i believe was the manager) immediately said that that sounded like a great idea and that they would get right on it. The kids play area offers many ways to keep your little ones occupied for hours. What else... oh: The showers are awesome. And you have a shopping mall in the same building (and a 24h ice-cream vending machine around the corner.. need i say more?)

If anything: a waste bin of some sorts in the kids play area would be nice to have.

The hotel has an excellent location. The garage under the building was very convenient. The room was big and attractive. The bathroom was big and well equipped.

As I did not pay the room at the check-in then the hotel did book a large amount of money on my account whithout any prior notice. This money allocation was not removed when I payed the room at the check-out so I couldn't use that amount for at least two weeks. The mains plugs were near the bed only so it was uncomfortable to work on my laptop however the desk was easily moved which I liked.

Great location, just outside the historic city center. Easy access by car and reasonably priced underground parking. Groceries and other shops in the same building as the hotel. Friendly staff, clean and quiet room, comfortable beds. Good internet access.

The kitchen could be better equipped; it didn't have enough plates and utensils for three people. Out room had windows opening to an indoor balcony. No ventilation or fresh air - had to use the aircon instead all the time.

The location was great, we didn't have breakfast as we don't eat very much at this meal. Although we do recommend the Restaurant opposite, the Food was really good also the wine. Regarding the Hotel, the Staff were so Friendly and helpful, we loved the modern room also the service area, what a great idea! After Steyr, which we loved, the Reception staff booked Harry's Home in Linz for us for two nights. The Bus here stops right outside the Hotel, No. 33 or the Tram direction University No. 1 or 2 Ten minute walk. Also a visit to Lake Pleshinger. Is sooooo worth a visit. NO Dogs allowed. Fab.

We really don't like the glass door to the Bathroom because if one has to use it during the night the light wakes up the other person.

The hotel is located a short walk from the Old Town. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast was very tasty. The hotel is located on the upper floors of the shopping center (separate entrance and staircase). Parking spaces in the underground car park in the shopping center (inside there are signs leading to the entrance of the hotel). The old town is beautiful and the city of Steyr can be treated as a stop on the way to the Alps.

The location was great and room was well decorated and clean. Air conditioning was also perfect. By the way, the view in breakfast restaurant was picturesque. I can easily recommend it.

Check in was from 16:00! but the room was ready and reception handled it at 14:30. Rooms do not have toothpaste. A tiny toothpaste is worth to improve satisfaction:-)

This is not the first time that I have stayed in a Harry's hotel. My expectations were therefore high. These expectations were more than met by the team in this well located hotel. They are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about both their hotel and the surrounding town (which is beautiful!)

The layout of this hotel after the reception is closed is not user friendly. It is a long hike along corridors - but that is my only negative observation.

Modern, clean and very comfortable room with city view. Very nice breakfast at the rooftop. Helpful and smiling staff. Easy parking in the area.

There weren't amenities you usually find in hotels like this like slippers toothpaste etc but you can buy some of these in vending machines at the hotel.
