The hotel situated right next to Donau. From our room, we can see the river and it was very charming! The room was spacious and was beautifully furnished with antique furnitures. The staff of the hotel are couldn’t be more thoughtful and accommodating. Bastian at the front desk patiently waited for our late arrival and made every arrangement to make our stay pleasant and convenient. We also enjoy its breakfast very much, which is fresh and high quality of the food it offers. The jam is made by the inn owner’s wife if I am not mistaken (I was told “it was made by my mom” when I asked the young man who served us at the breakfast table) and it simply was the most delicious I have ever had!! They even generously gifted us some when I asked where and whether we can buy some (it is purely home-made and nowhere to buy!) Our random one-night stay surprisingly turned into an impeccable, lovely journey of itself thanks to the care the hotel staff paid to its guests. This is something one cannot easily expect but only encounter as many things in life. Thank you.

Quaint hotel in beautiful setting next to the Danube. We had a generous sized room with comfortable bed and period decor. The service at check in was excellent with very helpful staff, including dinner recommendations. Parking was convenient and breakfast was in a sunny room overlooking the river. The common area was like a period lounge with books and armchairs. The hotel was also walkable to the city centre.

We initially did not discover the main entrance in the side street but this was not a problem.

Very kind staff, clean room with separate bathroom and toilette, excellent position nearby the River Danube with nice view and walking area, breakfast was excellent with great coffee, peaceful place, free parking in front of the hotel and WiFi was very good... So, we had excellent experience and we will come back again for sure. Tulln is really a pretty town with nice city center and surroundings.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

The hotel has a nice cosy vibe of an old family home. The bed was very nice, we had very comfortable sleep. The bathroom was a nice size and clean. The location is great, and they have a nice locked up bicycle storage. The breakfast was delicious.

I didn't feel welcomed by one of the staff members - the young man. He had somewhat unpleasant and unhelpful attitude, unlike the older man who was very attentive despite not being able to speak english.

We were greeted on arrival by a charming young man who carried our heavy bags to our room for us before serving us a welcoming cappuccino. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff here. They ascertained the opening times of the nearby exhibition and advised us of local facilities. The hotel is beautifully decorated and has many interesting local photos as well as a comfortable library seating area. Breakfast was superb!

Nothing to improve

The location is excellent when you cycling the Danube and very central in Tulln. It offered bike storage which was great. The room was very spacious and very quiet. Breakfast was buffet style with delicious coffee!

The shower leaked and there was a stale smell of smoke at reception.

Location was right in the Danube River and we were biking the trail-perfect. Breakfast was a great variety of items.

The pillows on the bed were very thin. We had to fold them in half just to make them normal size. A small problem for a great stay.

This is a superb little hotel, full of atmosphere and in a very good position on the riverfront. The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and full of character. Breakfast was tasty and pleasantly served.

What a gem! A clean, cozy room with a balcony. Ornate furnishings and a very romantic feel. Right next to the Danube river - I had a great breakfast in the garden. Walking distance to center oif town and railway station.

I could only find one socket - down low, near the door. I have to admit it didn't bother me, so I didn't ask if there were more. Also, WiFi in the room not good. Isat in the very comfortable and cozy lounge downstairs to get good internet connection.

Great location very walkable to the main square and restaurants. Lovely view of the river and the occasional huge river cruise boat. Individually decorated rooms and an honor bar for late nights. It is not a 24 hr front desk but front doors are kept locked by guests. Breakfast is delicious. Easily accessible to both the Wachau vineyards and Schonnbrunn Palace.
