Location, the height of the room, nice personal on reception, daily cleaning Is not fair to rate a booked room as if it should be a 5 stars, because is not pretending to be.

So, the room inside is more like grandma place, but the price is fair - and as long as it is clean , it works

The location was EXCELLENT. You are right on the pedestrian shopping street with lots of easy food options right there. The metro is literally outside the door. The breakfast was excellent and the staff kind and helpful. The rooms are simple, very clean and had everything I needed. I had a late flight and was given clear directions and instructions for accessing the room after hours.

I was in Vienna during a heat wave - I knew there wasn't air conditioning in the rooms so that was OK. We were provided with a quiet good fan which made all the difference.

A bit outdated interior decor, particularly the bathroom (but that can be part of the charm; 80s aesthetics); the staff could have been trained better (e.g. telephone call in the morning to ask us when we would like our room to be cleaned when we were still sleeping as we had a very late check in at the early morning hours)

The Pension is located on the first floor of a building that is immediately opposite the exit of the Neubeugasse Metro station on the U3 line. This means that you can get into the centre of Vienna in a few minutes. Buy a multi-day public transport ticket and you can make full use of the city's extensive transport network. My single room was on the small scale, but adequate. There was a fridge, three chairs and a desk, and plenty of storage. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. No airconditioning, but a fan was available. Breakfast was an additional 8,30 euros a day, quite reasonable for Vienna, and served from 8:00am in the reception area.

What stops me giving the Pension a higher rating is the noise from the street. Mariahilferstr is a major shopping strip during the day, and a popular hangout for drunks and homeless at night. This noise necessitated the wearing of ear-plugs to get asleep.

Clean, comfortable room with a good breakfast. It's a very small Pension Hotel in a large building, so it feels homey. It's got a metro line right outside the door, so getting around Vienna is easy. It's also close to many of the tourist attractions so walking works, too.

I didn't really know how to get inside the big building at first, and the instructions on the door were not intuitive. But someone else was entering the building when we were trying to figure this out, and we followed her in. Once inside the building, it was easy to find the correct floor and door for the pension. And once we got our keys, it worked out just fine. Also, it was a bit noisy on the street below our room at times, but not excessively loud.

Great location, at the main shopping street, 10 meters from the stairs to metro. The street is generally excluded from car traffic but very crowded with shoppers. Close to everywhere. New and comfortable beds. A small fridge with free water in every room.

Old fashion style of the hotel, really bad decoration. Not dirty or tired but just bad style. Same breakfast every day (two sets to choose from). It is a good breakfast but exactly the same every day. Some rooms open directly to the common (breakfast) area. Some rooms really dark. Light needed all day long (The windows face a wall 3m away).

Location is superb. We left the car at P+R at Erdberg and took U3 - 12 mins. The pension is right in the middle of Mariahilf. walking distance to city centre or Museum Quarter. The property is based in the centre of a very busy street with shops, however once the shops are closed it gets quiet.

The property is rather dated, but it’s super clean, we could not fault it! The beds were comfortable, I had such a good sleep. The staff at the reception are so friendly and extremely helpful. I would recommend getting small kettles in the room with couple of mugs and it would be 100% perfect.

Superb location in city center, spotlessly clean, welcoming owner and kind staff. Very spacious triple room with comfortable beds, although pillows were rather tiny. We had courtyard view and it was totally silent during the night.

There’s no air conditioning due to city regulations on preservation of historic buildings which is not property’s fault but something to keep in mind for those who can’t stand hot summer days and nights. Fan is provided and helped a lot.

A clean, tidy room. Comfortable single bed. Clean bathroom. Plenty of hot water. Ample space for clothes. A very handy fridge for keeping food and drinks fresh. I didn't have breakfast in the hotel, there are plenty of eating places minutes from the hotel. My room overlooked Mariahilferstrasse and the entrance to the city metro. The metro (U3) is very convenient for getting around the city, but there are also lots of people hanging around the area until late at night, so it can be a bit noisy.

This hotel is placed in the heart of Vienna, which makes it perfect for short trips as one can easily walk towards most of the attractions. It is placed on the main shopping street of Vienna, which means there are a lot of bar or supermarkets nearby but also a lot of people. We did not find it noisy tho. There is also a metro stop in front of the building. The staff was friendly and responsive. The room was clean and equipped as described.
