We chose this hotel because of its close proximity to the railway station and the vast number of very positive reviews it had received on booking.com. Our experiences there exceeded expectation. This family owned and operated hotel is less than 5 mins walk from the platforms and offers a calm, welcoming and very appealing stopover in this part of town. It’s also remarkably quiet given its a stone’s throw from the station. Our room was neat and attractive; scrupulously clean and very well presented. The staff were great; very helpful and friendly, with a good grasp of English. The hotel’s fish restaurant is arguably the best place to eat in town. The menu and wine list showcase many quality local producers as well as a handful from Croatia, the former homeland of the hotel owners and its employees.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. We would make this hotel our first choice if ever we were to return to Wels.

The staff is great and the breakfast is very good. For us the location was very convenient in the center next to the train station. Just a very nice hotel.

We booked the 'cheapest' room and although it was comfortable and even had electric blinds for the window it was very small. The bathroom was similarly tiny, but very clean, modern and functional.

Friendliness of staff. Location good - very handy for Wels station - a super location for travel by rail to anywhere in Austria. Restaurant also called Adria in separate ownership but obviously a top restaurant for the district- very good

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The value for money was exceptional, room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Location is very easy to reach from highway.

On booking.com location is listed as having EV charging, however the charger is a public charger across the street that requires a subscription on their service.

Cleanliness and comfort

Too early breakfast timings and too early checking out, but that's Austrian Culture Also channel no. 20 on the TV which is Austria no. 1 sports channels broadcast porn from 1am till 6am. I was watching some live hockey and all of sudden porn started. Maybe someone can sue the TV channel.

Beautiful hotel, great rooms, well decorated. We had an amazing sleep with comfy beds and black out blinds and good air conditioning. Quiet location and only 10 minute walk to the main square.

Nothing. We would have liked to try the restaurant but it was shut.

The food of the restaurant is excellent. It's not cheap but the price quality is right.

I like to sleep with the window open but then you have noise from the trainstation

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is large, clean and equipped with nice and new furniture. The bathroom is also great.

Who is travelling by train, the location is excellent. However, it takes some time to get to downtown on foot.

Amazing personal, the best cuisine (this time closed - staff on holliday) , I miss this a lot. I hope they will give me next time one proceco gratis :) , because they let me struggle, without my favourite dinner. Beautiful , tasty like usually. Next time in Wels - I will come back again.
