These sweet folks upgraded us to a beautiful room at the Donau Lodge for free! Our room had a view of the mighty Donau river and of the gorgeous medieval tower just outside. Perfect to sit out on the patio with a glass of wine and listen to the river rushing by. The bed was comfortable, tv big, and the towels soft. Breakfast was enormous and varied. We had a safe garage with electricity to store our bicycles. After we arrived, we did a mini tour around the town with numbered signs describing the history, all within one kilometer of the hotel. After, we stumbled upon a bicycle beer cart right on the water near our hotel, serving Dok‘s beer and offering live music. We sat on the rock wall and enjoying the last vestiges of the summer sun, along with delicious suds and American rock tunes. A delightful stay, say we.

The hotel is located on the very bank of the Danube, not far from the highway - it is a convenient place for transit accommodation. On the way through the town there are also gas stations much cheaper than on the highway. Our suite was very spacious, clean and the beds comfortable - we had a good night's sleep. There is a very good restaurant in the older building, so we had a delicious dinner, and in the morning in the newer building, a very tasty and varied buffet breakfast.

The hotel consists of two buildings - an older one and a newer one. The reception is in the newer one, but the restuarant and our room was in the older one. It was a bit confusing at first because we arrived after dark, we were looking for the reception in the older building and it would have been easier if there was clear information on where to go.

I got upgraded to the hotel across the street. Rooms were very nice, Breakfast was very good. Facilities are new in that part of the establishment. As I was traveling with my bike I was happy there was a save room for the night. All of the staff I interacted with was super friendly and helpful.

The check-in process took some time. I was at the location I booked just to be told that I have to go across the street - there the reception was staffed by one person only who was dealing with new arrivals and the phone.

We stayed in the old part of the hotel, there is a very modern part built overlooking der Donau. The older hotel has a certain old world charm about it. the room was fine. we had a superb evening meal in the courtyard and a wonderful cyclists breakfast in the new hotel the following morning. Great service. Great location. The hotel is on the cycle path and that makes it ideal for cyclists. a good secure garage for the bikes is available.

Hard to find any flaw…though the new hotel and its facilities does contrast with the old style main hotel.

Very comfortable room in a great location by the Danube River, and a walk to nice spots for a drink or dinner. We dined at the restaurant downstairs at the Inn and the food was excellent. The breakfast was also a nice inclusion. Recommend for a stay.

No air conditioning in the room but a floor fan was provided in the room.

Because we come on Sunday and it was quite late, the property was kind enough to upgrade us and we stay at donau lodge. The lodge was new , we had a room with Danube vvew and it was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was exquisite and offered a lot of variations. You could even have your own customized omlette.The staff was very kind and friendly. We felt great

Lovely and very comfortable room overlooking the Danube. Superb location for Ybbs Town centre.

Although staff were extremely friendly and helpful, they finished at 7.00pm and went home. We didn't know this in advance and arrived at 6.00pm after a day's cycling with the prospect of potentially struggling to find food in a town where most places were shut. We would have welcomed some advanced warning.

Our late check-in was well organised. We managed to find the instructions on how to open the main door and found our rooms without problems. Breakfast was very good. Everything was fresh and well presented. Good coffee available for self service. A la card breakfast available with variety of choices, also for special diets. Location was lovely, Danube was 20 m away. Morning view of the river was breathtaking. Great experience.

it s a simple room, clean, silent and comfortable. We needed only a bed to sleep for a night for our trip to Hungary and therefore I can recommend. Breakfast at the Lodge was perfect and please have dinner at the restaurant, its delicious

Everything was great, I appreciate your attention to details: salt for feet in the bathroom, flowers on women's day, thank you. Wonderful restsurant with great selection of local products and wine. I have stayed with you before and I will stay again.
