The staff are really friendly, helpful, and responsible. I arrived on a Sunday night and they called me beforehand to check with me what time I would check in and instructed me how to get the keys. I initially did not give any time I would come so I really appreciate this. I also had problems with the wi-fi connection and they also helped me with that. The staff can speak English, Dutch, and French. There's also a breakfast buffet for 10 euros. The hotel is in a good location with tram stations nearby. By walking, it's 30 minutes from the Central Station.

There's no elevator so I had to carry my stuff on their kind of narrow staircase. I only get connected to the wi-fi on my second day, so that was tough. Thankfully it was not super hot when I was there but a fan would be good during this summer season.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was my husband's birthday and I requested a small cake and balloons. we also got champagne. Thanks to Thierry ❤️ The breakfast was good and we had fresh croissants everyday. We wanted private bathroom so we booked the room in the attic which was good but so many stairs as the hotel is a very old building. The hotel is very close to the subway and Tram and 20mins Walk from the city center and historical attractions. Overall we had a pleasant stay

There were no hairdryers in the room but I asked the front desk and got one. There were no daily room service but we got fresh towels when we asked for.

I liked the charm the property had offer. Getting your own room at that price was a good value for money. The staff was super nice & helpful. Guided me towards the main attractions of the city, gave me a paper map and some Belgian chocolates. Also, they are more than happy to keep your luggage after checkout time incase that's a requirement - it was very convenient for me to explore the city on the day of my checkout.

I didn't like the position of charging sockets. I had to move the bed a little bit to be able to charge my laptop and phone as the sockets were hidden by the bed.

A really nice hotel in an ancient building quite close to the city center. My room was on the ground floor but the window opened onto a private gated garden, so it felt private and secure, while still letting in enough sunlight and fresh air. The room was cozy and charming, with engravings on the walls and a comfortable table. The sanitary appliances were fine. The Wi-Fi signal was strong and consistent, perfect for work or browsing the Internet. The person at the reception desk who checked me in was corteous, not to say aristocratic, and spoke great English. I paid extra for the buffet breakfast and never regretted it - the breakfast is served in the exquisite Art Nouveau dining room and includes many foods, such as pâté, several cheeses and meats, freshly baked croissants and pastries, cereals, juices, tea and coffee, etc.

There is no mesh on the window, so I was somewhat bothered by mosquitos at night. Also, there is no 24/7 reception desk at the hotel (reception opens in the morning to check the guests out and then after 4 p.m. to check new ones in), so you cannot leave your luggage there if you arrive / depart too early or too late.

Very large room and bathroom. Friendly receptionist, Nespresso machine in the room. Internet worked fine and they very kindly printed off my boarding pass for my flight as for some reason Ryanair required this.

The room was very large so took a bit of time to heat up once the radiator was on. The hotel is much further out from the centre than I realised when I booked so my error for not working that out. It's probably a 25 minute walk from Antwerp Centraal but it you can work out the tram connections, then it's probably quite quick. There are not much in the way of shops or cafes in the area. I didn't note the hotel is only open for afternoon check-in between 3 - 6pm so arrived too early and there wasn't a lot to do in the area. The rooms have double glazing but you are aware of the traffic on the 4 lane boulevard.

Convenient location, with the public bike stations a few minutes away. Good value for money. Quick communication with the reception about late check-in a few minutes later than the official check-in times.

The shower only seemed to have cold water on one of the mornings of my stay (might have been a malfunction on only one though).

Great location - not on the doorstep of a busy station but close enough to 2 very useful tram stops and is in walking distance of the city centre. I was visiting a friend who lives in the suburbs and it was very easy to get back from her place late at night as well. The staff were friendly and it served it's purpose perfectly as a comfortable and quiet place to rest for the night before exploring the city in the day.

The view from the window wasn't the most picturesque and communication on how to check out could've been a bit clearer.

Staff were really friendly on check-in and when I decided to get breakfast. They put up with my attempts to speak Dutch but are completely fluent in English too. I had a shared shower and it was excellent - Got hot quickly and good water pressure. Also I don't know how many people it was actually shared with, because I never had to wait for someone else to finish. The hotel is next to a tram stop and there is a Velo (public hire bikes) docking station nearby.

Room was clean but it smelled a little bit like the previous guest had tried to have a sneaky cigarette (although you are clearly told not to smoke).

location. it’s based in the quieter less touristy part- close to local bars and the newly renovated fine art museum and the river. it’s about 25 min walk from central station. the staff are helpful kind and friendly, I left my UK/ EU adaptor and I borrowed theirs. I stayed in a simple single room, with shared facilities which fitted my budget. it was clean and facilities clean.

Very warm welcome by the host, who also gave us some advise of interesting area's to visit. Location of the hotel is perfect to visit the different area's of Antwerp.

The hotel is located next to a busy road and also our room was at the front side of the hotel, which caused some noise during the night. Probably less of an issue when you have a room at the back side of the hotel.
