A warm welcome from our host. Nicely renovated building with good sized rooms including drinks for a modest price along with tea/coffee facilities. Good bathroom. Breakfast was extensive with eggs cooked to order, served in the conservatory overlooking the garden. An introduction to the local bar / restaurant meant dinner was in walking distance - a bonus.

Verr nice and quiet location. Staff very freindly. Speaks english and dutch. The place has the charm of an old little farm, yet has all the comfort. Breakfast was excellent, great location with a view over the fields with the animals. Breakfast usually between 8 and 9, but they made an exception for me because I had to leave earlier to participate in a trail run in Bouillon.

We had to leave too soon to enjoy the place a little more.

Exceptional place to stay and we were made to feel so welcome. Lovely restaurant within walking distance, definitely recommend the steak! Lovely little village to wander around. Great room to stay in, really well equipped. Pleasant to have tea and coffee in the room too. Fantastic breakfast.

Everything! Can’t fault anything, hosts are brilliant very friendly & went out of there way for us on more then one occasion, best place we stayed while on motorbike tour of Belgium! Quiet, peaceful & amazing views. Definitely worth a visit

Fantastic hosts with a clean room and comfortable bed. One of the main highlights of the village are the nearby hiking trails, with good weather you can come across some quite beautiful views. The local church is the starting point for three nearby trails which are clearly indicated along their route and all end back in Dohan. I would highly recommend staying here if you want to explore this part of the Ardennes!

The host was super friendly. The breakfast was amazing, all home made and/or home grown. The rooms were very spacious. And the whole place gave us a vibe of a cozy homey inn. Great for a traveller's stop.

Beds were too hard to our liking, but we like soft beds.

The room was fully renovated and had a very good shower, yet cosy and furnished with beautiful old items. A fridge and a kettle in the room was definetely a perfect idea from the owner. Communication with owners was fluent.

The village itself was quiet and that was what we were looking for, but if you're looking for busy restaurants and band playing in the evening, this is not the place.

Our friendly host greeted us and showed us to our spacious room with explanations of house guidelines. We had a minibar which contained drinks for purchase while coffee and tea are free. The room is new and modern including a nice super clean bathroom. We were able to adjust the heating to our comfort and view Netflix on the TV. Our beds and pillows were just right to support us onward quietly to Dreamland. Breakfast was from 8-9 and is served in a glass sunroom overlooking a peaceful pasture containing the owners sheep and chickens. We were offered a fresh fruit combination, yogurt with granola and maple syrup, a nice selection of meats, cheeses and breads. We felt restored and ready to explore this beautiful part of Belgium. We appreciated our hosts and the stay at B&B Courtil.

A bit pricey considering room and far off location.

just perfect. amazingly warm and hospitable couple (and three cute dogs). breakfast was varied, with a lot of self-made and homegrown products - the host makes her own bread, confiture,… we happily learned some new recipes we want to try out ourselves at home. a nice and calm location, ideal to find some calmness in the Ardens and go for a long hike in the woods along the river. we will definitely return!
