Lovely old hotel right in the middle of town so in the best location, staff are very welcoming and helpful, room was ok, bed was comfortable, bedroom and bathroom nice clean and tidy, breakfast was lovely lots of choices, safe garage for vehicle, would stay again

Your paying for location location, everything is extra breakfast, garage, hotel felling a little bit old could do with a little updating, as it’s right in middle of town got a lot of noise from outside late at night and early morning,

Great room, en-suite but noisy by the road - room was hot so left the window open but then the noise from traffic. Dinner was excellent but not cheap. Breakfast at 20 euros was ridiculous so we used the boulangerie opposite.

Receptionist (Unfortunately the more senior lady set a bad tone on check in, poor people skills, abrupt, and told me I’d only booked a twin room for 1 person each but I’d messaged the hotel to clarify this on the booking messages - which is there for all to see. She then was extremely negative about Booking.com and became unprofessional. She didn’t crack a smile throughout our stay they, and she was equally abrupt in the restaurant in the evening), from traffic in the room, 8.5 euros to park one motorcycle was ridiculous.

Hotel is in a prime location wright in the heart of the town, which makes the price be more then it should be, ( my personal opinion) the hotel is very old but with a grand regal design and decor, staff are very friendly pleasant and helpful, there are bigger rooms I think but my room and bathroom was so small there was no where to put anything but both clean & tidy, view was not good but you can get the river view, nice shower and bed was comfortable, as the hotel is old the floors creak really badly and are uneven, breakfast was extra but a lovely big breakfast buffet with lots of nice food to choose from

Watch out for extras breakfast, parking in garage it all adds up, my room and bathroom was so small, but there are bigger rooms state when booking, floors really creak but it is a old hotel part of its character, could have been some drinks in room cold ones in a mini bar or tea or coffee for the price of what you are paying hotel price,

1. The location is perfect (very close to restaurants and Bouillon castle - 5 min walking distance) 2. Has a parking lot within the building (which needs to be booked in advance and must pay an additional fee). Also, has 2 electric charging points, which was great, because we could charge our car in the hotel. 3. The breakfast was OK, but not exceptional. 4. We chose the room with a river view, but since our room was in the 1st floor, the restaurant below was a bit in front..I would choose the rooms on the 3rd or 4th floor the bext time, the view must be better.

We knew the building was old and it would be outdated, but were pleasantly surprised by our bathroom - small but practical, nice design and lighting details, brand new and with more goodies than we needed. Location is perfect and they have an excellent tapas restaurant next to the river: BOM. A little overpriced but the service was excellent and food was also great.

As mentioned, the rooms are a little old, which is understandable. But the upholstered furniture / curtains in the room felt a little worn or dirty.

A wonderful, historical hotel located in a perfect spot in this historical town. After a great day of riding from Calais down through Belgium and then along the beautiful twisty roads through the Semois valley in the Ardenne it was great to arrive in Bouillon, and see the hotel immediately on the Place St Arnould (although it doesn’t stay ‘relais de Napoleon III’ on the frontage, only Hotel de la Poste which confused me for a moment 😉). There is secure, garaged parking for motorcycles. Our room was facing the river and the castle and had a great view. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was good and the bathroom facilities were good. The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. We are vegetarian and ate at the hotel restaurant called Bom, outside on the terrace alongside the river. There were two main dishes that were vegetarian and, other than pizzas or chips elsewhere, were the best veggie options in town that we saw (of course there may be others that we missed as we were tired so didn’t trawl the small town extensively!) So we ate those dishes both nights (gnocchi with burrata and cherry tomatoes and udon noodles with tofu and other bits and pieces). They really were delicious. There was also some vegetarian tapas, of which we had patatas bravas which was very good. Definitely recommend this hotel for motorcyclists after a fine day of riding in the Ardenne. Also perfectly located for the onward journey south if you want to pop out onto the motorway. We were heading off to Baden Baden and the Black Forest which was an easy 3hrs away, is the really scenic A4 autoroute de l’Est.

There was nothing that we didn’t like.

The location, close to the bridge over the river, was excellent. Staff were helpful and accommodated our bicycles in a secure conference room. Breakfast was very good and the hotel was very well appointed. One of my friends left an item in his room - the hotel were helpful in locating this and returning it to his address in the UK.

One of our rooms had a 'musty' smell, particularly in the bathroom. We reported this on departure.

The hotel was easy to find and in a fantastic location, the restaurant was excellent and the reception was able to provide secure parking for our motorcycles. Also check-in/out was easy allowing us to get on our way quickly and without fuss.

This looks to be an old hotel so there was no air-conditioning (I should have checked), and the rooms were a little tired and in need of an update. However, this would not stop me from coming back and staying here again.

My wife and I spent two nights at the Hotel De La Poste. Our room was comfortable, light and airy and had a lovely view over the river to the castle and hills beyond. An electric fan helped keep it cool in the very how weather. The staff were polite and helpful. The hotel’s location is very convenient being right in the town centre. There was ample parking in the underground car park, which was very useful.

There were no tea/coffee making facilities in our room. We did not try breakfast as the charge was some 20 Euros per person. Instead, we ate breakfast at the tea room across the square for a quarter of the price! The main negative point was the constant thud, thud, thud of the base from the music in the ground floor bar, which made it much too noisy to have the windows open.

Very nice hotel with the charm of his history. Rooms are nice and clean. Gentle staff. Good service. In the very center near the river. Possibility of parking within the hotel at reasonable price.

The spatial organisation of the breakfast buffet should be revised. At peak time this is almost impossible to access what you need given the crowd. Breakfast is OK but not extraordinary.
