Thierry was very welcoming and gave us a map of the area with details of where to go and what to do locally along with a folder detailing the local restaurants and including their menus, contact info etc. Stunning room with a balcony and a spa bath. Breakfast on the sun terrace was wonderful, lots of options and all fresh. A beautiful location, we crossed the road and followed the artist's trail through the forest before breakfast. I can't recommend Hôtel l'Ecrin d'Ô enough, it's a wonderful place to stay.

Not really a complaint, but perhaps a fan in the room would be helpful when the weather is hot.

We spent 2 nights at the hotel. I definitely recommend this because you will not be in a rush when wanting to visiting the town and the surrounding. We went to the Wellness as well, very recommended! We ask for a room with a bath and the host made sure that we got what we wanted. It was perfect! Everything was very clean. I have asthma and I always have problems breathing because of the dust or the smell of the hotels where I go. I was surprised that the hotel and the rooms smelled so good and that helped me a lot to be able to sleep. The host is always there if you need something, he took good care of us, specially during breakfast, he was constantly checking if everything was in order. I really recommend this hotel!

We loved our stay here. Very welcoming staff, you could really tell they were proud to work there, as they should be. Exceptionally clean place with a lot of attention to detail. We had a room with a spa bath which was just lovely with perfectly explained instructions. Breakfast was included with our booking, it was a really complete and fresh breakfast, a cooked egg, fresh coffee with freshly baked goods, and all you could think of for breakfast, just lovely. And just to top it off, it was very close to the village of Spa, just a 15min walk. Do have in mind it is on a hill so to come back it takes 25min to get to the hotel. If you are looking for a perfect getaway, dont hesitate to book here, we are for sure coming back here. :)

Thierry was a very welcoming host, and went to some trouble to accommodate dietary needs. The bed was extremely comfortable, with a choice of pillows. The hotel is in a splendid old early 20th century villa which has been tastefully refurbished.

There is no elevator, so this property wouldn't suit anyone with mobility difficulties, and besides it would be out of keeping with the style of the building. Other than that, which was not an issue for us, there's nothing I can criticise.

Everything! Lovely location, surrounded by lush vegetation. A super nice owner who gave us a lot of useful information about restaurants and other activities in the area. Super nice decoration, modern but still in the spirit of the house. We received a suite instead of the room booked, which was excellent. Nice big bathroom, with a lot of amenities. Coffee/tea kettle in the room. Excellent breakfast.

For someone who did not like to walk, it was 1.7 km to the Spa city center; but it's a nice straight (on the main road) walk (there are sidewalks). Being an old wodden house, some of the noises cannot be totally avoided, but this is also the "charm" of the place.

There is a short walk down into the town (15 minutes ) but the trip back takes longer and is uphill!! Average fitness and you will be fine. Upon arrival we were welcomed by the host, who couldn’t have been of greater assistance to us. Extremely friendly, very prepared to share information needed for a short stay. Breakfast is buffet style but of exceptional standard. We stayed for one night, but to sum up: it was like staying with an old friend 😊

Location, attention to detail, the owner was so thoughtful and attentive. when we arrived he showed us our room, even took the time to show us which channels on TV were English speaking. I cannot say enough about Thierry’s hospitality. He was so professional. Breakfast was just as good. Just a great experience. Thank you so much!

Stayed while on a visit to Spa circuit, great location just 5mins away, communication from Thierry could not have been better, made check-in super easy, greeted with a very warm welcome at breakfast the following morning having arrived quite late at night, upgraded us to a larger suite complimentary, comfortable rooms, clean, just exactly what we needed for that kind of trip, merci beaucoup, Ben

Absolutely everything, nice and cozy place to stay with very friendly personnel and in great location The owner was extremely friendly and helpful in order the local activities that we could enjoy. Then there is that super coszy and quite living room where you can have drinks and beers. Large comfy room with bathtub, very warm.Nice breakfast. Nice location peaceful and quit, completely enjoyed our stay we would recommend the place to everyone

Very nice little hotel. We felt more than welcomed! The host Thierry was really nice and gave us lots of tips for the city of Spa. The breakfast was very nice and plentiful! The room was large and well equipped with large and comfortable bed:))
