The Rainforest Hotel really earns the four stars. All staff is extremly friendly and helps with organisation and information. In any respect. We enjoyed the best room. we have had during our long travel through Cambodia!. Especially the beds proofed a lot better, i.e. less hard as in all the other hotels. Breakfast was excellent, asian as well as western.. On the weekend as a bufet in total, during the week partialy a la carte (asian) and bufet (western plus fruit). It is true, that it is a bit too far to walk from the lovely city centre of Kampot. You definetly need a TukTuk to get there or return. That makes 5$ return in total and very easy to organize, but it is worth it, as you enjoy a great and calm stay over night.

It is very relaxing and comfortable to enjoy the aircon during the night. Even if adjusted to miinimal fan-speed and high temperature you will feel a "cold" stream of air on your head. Some may like that, we don"t. According to our experience made in numerous other hotels in Cambodia, this is a very common situation. We usualy covered our heads with a light scarf during the night. This helps a lot.

Staff were great - immediately changed our room when the one we were in had a really bad drain smell after showering. We were moved upstairs to a better room with a great view above the trees. Also super nice when the motorbike we rented had an issue. Very calming. Nice pool. Wouldn't want a room opening onto the pool though as the pool was in use quite late and quite early by kids. Bed very comfortable.. Slept really well - which is unusual!

Initially seemed a bit cut off (not a remote resort type of gal - prefer to walk to everything) but quickly got used to it - used great value tuk tuks when needed. Only one moaned about it being so far away. Just have to wait a bit longer for one to come that's all. Didnt seem to be a restaraunt for dinner - but that's why tuk tuks or food delivery is invented.

Really nice hotel, the rooms are really comfortable . The staff is beyond amazing, they helped us organise excursions, they ordered us tuk tuk when needed and the best part is that they organized a personal cooking session for us because we wanted to explore the Cambodian cuisine and they even printed out a certificate for cooking for us. They did everything to make the stay better . I highly recommend this hotel and its services

It was a wonderful time to stay here with my family. All around the hotel were beautiful with the garden and swimming pool. We really enjoyed our stay here.

This is my second time staying at this beautiful resort. Mr Lam Vichet and his staffs are the most friendliest and kind people around. The service is amazing, the room is clean and the pool and the surrounding is breathtaking. I also love their Koi pond. Beautiful and colorful swimming around in carefree environment. Oh and the foods are also delicious especially the seafood fried rice. Highly recommended.

Everything was perfect. The front desk staff allowed early check-in(Maybe it was low season, not many guests in the hotel). We took a 9-hour bus from siem reap and it was good to check in early. The hotel staff are kind, fantastic and nice. I wish I could stay longer. Hotel always clean not only swimming pool but also hotel facilities.

Location. You have to take tuk tuk every single time as there is nothing you can enjoy around the hotel. Nevertheless, thanks for hotel staff I would definitely stay here again if I ever visit kampot.

Great hotel outside of the Kampot city center. Rooms are spacious and staff was very helpful!

The restaurant closed at 5pm with little diner options nearby. However, the city center is only a 10min tuk tuk drive away and staff is very helpful in arranging this.

This is my first time to visit in Kampot and we decided to stay here for our trip. This is such a wonderful hotel in Kampot, everything was great and nice service. The room was clean and modern. we loved the swimming which next to our room and enjoyed the cocktail at the pool bar.

It was a beautiful hotel with lovely rooms and facilities inside. Front desk staff were exceptional. Provided us with tours for quad biking and kayaking at sunset - highly recommend doing this. Drink service by pool

Very limited food options - especially breakfast was a bit disappointing. Location outside main area but only 5/10 min tuk tuk into town. Wi-fi not working first day but that was fixed a few hours later More beds around the pool could be an idea

New and luxurious hotel in Kampot. Place feels like a tranquil rainforest and the staff is helpful and friendly in any way. The manager gave us a warm welcome and we would definitely come back here. Rooms are large and the beds sleep lovely. To the town center its only 5 minutes with a tuktuk.
