Holiday Inn Hinton, an IHG Hotel

Holiday Inn chain is my favorite. Their beds, sheets and pillows are my favorite! Nice big clean rooms. Always enjoy my stay

Normally breakfast is included. This location it was not. But normally liking what the Holiday Inn usually provide I chose to purchase the breakfast for an extra 15$ each. So disappointing. No yogurt. No variety of breads. Everything way over done and just sitting there for hours. Wow. So not only is it not included but it is worse than what was served when it was. Should have gone to McDonald's.

Staff was very helpful at the hotel and helped me with problems with my reservation that was messed up by booking.com

I booked room for 1 adult and 3 children, but at the hotel receptionist told me that my booking was just for one adult. Communication between booking.com and hotel is very poor.

The location was convenient.

We booked the room for 4 people. We only had 3 towels, 2 bottles of water, 2 coffee cups. When I asked at the desk about some extra water, I was told in a very dismissive manner that there we couldn’t have any. We would not expect this from a Holiday Inn, and $249.00 for a room with not enough towels, coffee and water is unbelievable.

It was very clean and comfortable. The kids loved the waterslide and pool. The housekeeper in our corridor was very pleasant and always willing to help (as other houskeeper forgot ro put soap in our room) and we only had 3 towels instead of 4.

There was no continental breakfast. Some lowered price hotels that were just as nice did offer this. With the higher cost you would expect to have the continental breakfast The front staff were not as pleasant as they were last year, but was ok.

It was on the way to Jasper from Edmonton so convenient for us to avail this facility.

It is closed to highway so trucks passing by making noise. You have to be watchful when entering and taking exit. Don’t know as we didn’t book directly through hotel website but rooms allotted to us were not very clean.

Beds are very comfortable kids enjoyed the water slide

The phone kept ringing during night The noise insulation very poor , you could hear other people taking shower The room was not cleaned after the first day and I called reception for clean towels that never made it to our room.

check in was much harder than it needed to be i tried to check in early on the way to my sisters funeral I did inform him I no intention to access the room until much later that night with no sucess was told I had to check in when i returned. 6 hrs later when I returned the desk person was gone to a situation somewhere else in the hotel which was understandable so had stand around until he returned to check in . completely avoidable situation

The King suite was great but when we arrived we told them we wanted an extra two days but we had to move to another smaller room

The breakfast is not good at all. Poor quality food and no service at all.

I really enjoyed the location, it was close to all amenities (walmart, gas station, restaurants, etc.). It was really cozy, clean and comfortable. I wasn't expecting much because of how cheap in price it was, but I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. Will definitely come back.
