It was nice not having to worry about room service arriving every day, except the day we chose for it to happen. The food vouchers for the sister hotel at Lakeside were a wonderful encouragement to eat there, which otherwise would not have happened

The television was nice and large but very poor for guests to see programme information on. No info button on remote to identify details. The parking could do with better organisation and removal of a permanent 'green bin' making access to the very limited parking space even more difficult

Large room with a sofa to sit on, which is not always the case. Also a small sitting out area for each room downstairs (but directly onto the car park) and a balcony upstairs. Plenty of parking spaces and an overflow one on the otherside of the railway line. The sister hotel about 10 minutes walk away has a good restaurant for evening meals and breakfasts. Liked the optional $10 voucher to use in the sister hotel's restaurant as a thanks for 'Green' usage: i.e. not having room service when we stayed.

Nothing. Other reviews mention the nearness to the railway, which it is. However we stayed for two nights in the room nearest to the crossing and only two trains each day went by and blew their horns - one about 22.30 the other around 08.00 - so no problem.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was large and clean and the bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, and big, fluffy towels. The room was quiet overnight and the A/C worked well in the heat.

My husband and I were traveling on our bicycles and asked the front desk clerk if we could store our bikes since we had arrived early and wanted to walk around town without them. We were told "no". We had to find other storage elsewhere for our bikes. When asked if we could check in at 3:00 instead of 4:00, we were also told no. The front desk clerk was a bit abrupt with me.

It was ok. What I like best was the staff. They made up for property annoyances.

Parking on the property was quite difficult for me . Other guests helped me park the car. Budget room was quire cramped. (2nights) More expensive room was larger. (2nights) Train tracks were extremely close and trains went by with whistles at approximately 6am and 11pm. Hotel provided earplugs.Rooms were very clean and beds were great. Staff were courteous and friendly and helpful. Would go back there again.

The location and room was amazing!! The team was amazing and very communicative which we appreciated - they accommodated room change for us as well as provided a small surprise for our anniversary. Thank you so much.

We wished the room was a slightly bigger - it is tight for hanging out - only one chair by the table and two of us. We couldn't sit together at the table. Additionally - it would be awesome if there were King bed options as well.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. They warned us about the noise of a train but we heard nothing. The lake view was very pretty and the location was just a 15 minute walk to restaurants and shops. We would stay there again

Hallways were quite narrow making it difficult to manoeuvre the luggage cart. They layout of the hotel made it tricky to get to our room. Lots of stairs

The location was great- quick walk to the water and to groceries, about 15 min to the Main Street for restaurants. Comfortable beds. Dog -friendly.

The train tracks are very close to the property, but that was something we knew about in advance and was fine with ear plugs. The grout in the bathroom was a bit grungy and could be replaced, but the rest of the room was very clean.

Room was clean and neat - just a tad small but comfy. Nice friendly staff. We were advise about the train noise but we like to hear the train so no problem

Parking was a problem if we returned late but found a spot on the gravel lot just below the motel. Some of the patrons took up 2 spots with no consideration for others but I guess that's life.

I loved that i was so close to the beach(spent alot of time floating on my tube at lakeside park.

nobody seemed to answer the phone at the front desk when I called to let them know that I had a problem with my fridge)..I had ti go to the front desk to talk to some one and then the problem was fixed(some of my food froze)!!

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The AC worked. The balcony view of the fireworks was amazing!!! Almost in the parking lot of Save-on so very close to food.

The earplugs that they said were provided were not in the room so we definitely heard the train that passes right next to the hotel. There are so many small sets of stairs on the second floor. We had to go up and then down two half flights after we got off the elevator to get to our room. The parking lot is on a hill so was not ideal for us on motorcycles.
