I didn't like the fact that an order for room service included not just the menu price, but a $5 deliver charge. okay, but then one looks and sees that the bill also includes an automatic "gratuity payment" of 18%, but on top of that the charge unit presented also starts off with a schedule of "Optional" service gratuities, running from 15% to 40/50%. When asked why there is a requested gratuity on top of what has already been charged for service and gratuity, the answer is something mumbled about "Maybe you feel like it". Oh, I guess it really means "We don't mind trying to coerce you into paying $60+ for a small salad and order french fries." Life is tough Sandman. No. I mean "NO!"

Coercive room service practice. I guess they are more used to dealing with drunk high-rollers from the casino who will sign for anything stuck in front of them.

Nice spacious room with two comfy king sized beds, and a decent bathroom with plenty of towels and toiletries. This is a large hotel, and the swimming pool looked very nice. We did not eat here as we went into Vancouver each day. We used the hotels excellent airport transfer and then the Skytrain from the airport into town. There is also a transfer from the hotel into Richmond, but we didn't have time to go there.

Only coffee maker in the room, no kettle available.

Clean, not far from the airport, Denny's and another restaurant right beside. Quite modern feeling. Relatively quiet, the room climate control was good and we turned on the fan as a white noise over night.

We had a bad time with the shuttle going from the airport to the hotel, ended up missing one, the second was for crew only and we decided to taxi, not waiting another 30 minutes. The driver wasn't clear about his crew run, so that was a surprise when that happened. Doors inside the hotel (ie other people coming and going) quite loud as they slam shut, but luckily it wasn't too bad.

Room is clean and housekeeping is good. They cleaned out rooms as expected and they changed everything.

My rate doesn't include breakfast. And the in-house swimming pool open until 11pm. But the staff turned the sliding tube off at 9 pm already, which is the brightest part of the swimming pool.

Bed was comfortable. Location was great for going to the airport to catch an early flight. Staff was really friendly and knew the area.

Hotel was really huge and a maze to walk around in. Cost was a little more than I wanted to spend but location and reviews helped.

The young man at the desk- can't remember his name - when we checked in on August 21 at around 1 PM was more than helpful in every way and he made our trip by suggesting we visit Steveston. He was just the best

Hotel should provide free coffee and tea in the lobby

I went to check if the gym/pool was open later in the night and got locked inbetween an interior door and the doors to the gym. I had to use the emergency exit to get out. A staff member was not concerned about it when I brought the problem to their attention.

Attached restaurant - Chop - superb. Swimming Pool, both indoor (with water slide) and outdoor. Powerful Air conditioning.

Breakfast at Denny's was OK, but not a highlight. Previous occupant smoked, presumably on the balcony, but the room still had an odour. We got used to it very quickly though and did not feel the need to request a change of rooms.

Everything was amazing!! The Hotel is beautiful!! Just one thing was really annoying that the person in the counter charged my card three times then I have not seen the refund yet! The only bad issues is with the system while trying to pay!!

The issue with I I organize staff that collect the payments! Made too many mistakes!

The hotel was clean and the beds were so comfortable!

Although the hotel was close to the airport, which is why we stayed there, it is really not in an overly central location. It is a 25 minute walk from the sky train and much of that walk is through many somewhat sketchy areas with extremely poor lighting.
