Room, including bathroom, was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Refrigerator was a bit larger than usual at hotels.

Poor soundproofing, particularly from upstairs to our room downstairs. At minimum, innkeeper should make a point of telling upstairs guests to be mindful of downstairs guests and not stomp around or let their children stomp around in their room. (Of course, they may have done so, and the guests above us simply ignored them.) Also, our room could have done with somewhat better lighting (e.g., another floor lamp).

What breakfast? Didn't know there was any!

for the money and the stay, I really can't think of anything. Maybe have a communal barbeque available for the single rooms? The lady that owns the place is really, really great and allowed us to use one of the empty family rooms' barbeque but I'm thinking if that might not have been available, what then? Just a suggestion and a nice to have though.

The staff lady was very friendly and went out of her way to show us to our room and make sure everything was in order. The room was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. The balcony was a nice feature, as was the beautiful view of the harbour. We would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay if travelling to Ucluelet.

The stairs outside to the upper level were a bit difficult for one of us but not impossible.

Stayed in a one-bedroom suite. Bed was comfortable. Had a very nice sitting area with a sofa and chairs, and a great view overlooking part of the harbour and the government dock (same view available from the bedroom). A very well-equipped kitchen, with all the required utensils, pots and pans, toaster, coffee maker, full size fridge, stove, etc. Eating area with a table for four. Nice bathroom with large tub and shower, lots of towels provided. Nice covered outside deck, with a table for six (didn't use it as the weather wasn't the best), also a great bar-b-q (which we did use).

The owners (Teo and George) are incredible hosts. They go above and beyond what a typical chain hotel/motel provides and it makes one feel at home. Good location. The bed is incredibly comfy and the room has everything a person or family would need. If we ever go to Ucluelet again, this is the place we would want to stay at !!! Bravo - good to see the smaller operators in the accommodation business outperform the bigger chains.

Nothing to report that we disliked.

We stayed in the "honeymoon suite" which has a great view of the harbor behind. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with wine watching the boats and sailplanes coming and going. The hotel has a lot of Asian sculpture and artworks displayed around the property, gives it a very cool vibe. Easy walking to one of the best fish and chips places you'll ever find, Jiggers. We'll be back.

This was the best stay of our trip by far. The owners of the inn are a lovely and friendly couple who made us feel welcome and gave great recommendations. The inn itself is lovely and clean and has all the facilities you need. Area is beautiful right in the little marina with loads of beaches and trails nearby.

There location was fantastic. we had the honeymoon room. the view of the boat docks and mountains was absolutely picture perfect. The areas was easy to get to all attractions and was much more relaxing than when we had stayed in other places.

the only thing would have been to leave a few more packets of coffee in the room but the owner was always pleasant about giving us more just hated to have to ask. Part of the reason is we did not ask for room change so they had no reason to enter.

It was a lovely stay! The room was cozy and comfortable and came stocked with a nice size tv, a mini fridge, microwave, lots of coffee and tea, and a huge bathroom. The beds were super comfortable and clean, and the view from the hotel was amazing! We walked around the harbour in the evening and saw sea lions, jellyfish, eagles, starfish, and even otters! Staff were friendly and helpful.

lots of parking. right at the mouth of the Small Craft Harbour, so fun watching the boats come and go. excellent care given to the place as it was spotless and the contact person was very friendly and helpful.

we arrived on a Monday and almost every restaurant in Ucluelet was closed, even if they said online that they were open. we found one restaurant in town open, packed with tourists, after walking and then driving to over half a dozen places. be aware of this and plan accordingly if you are staying, likely staffing shortages like everywhere else. more places were open on Tuesday. this has nothing to do with the property we stayed at, but did affect our stay.
