The location was great! Nice quiet woodsy atmosphere just on the edge of town. Rainforest suite has a lovely deck that overlooks the water that ebbed and flowed with the tide. We liked the wholesome oats/granola, yogurt and oat milk left for breakfast. Fresh fruit was a bonus. Spa feel to the bathroom and heated floors!
It would be nice to have a light outside our entry door. Perhaps a sharp knife to cut fruit or other foods brought in, and regular drinking glasses. Logs provided for fireplace, a nice touch but were very smokey after the paper burn off.

Benoit had super granola and yogurt apportioned and waiting in the fridge. The jet tub and shower were a bonus to the heated tile floor. This a very relaxing B n B of fir finishing and a view of the ocean inlet through the trees.
It would have been nice to have more of a kitchen area for food prep. However, Benoit is in the middle of renovating so hyphocus will only be better.

I love the setting in the forest, and I also like the jetted tub. Kevin is a very welcoming and friendly host.
The tub keeps draining even with the plug. Could use actual firewood instead of a 2.5hr burning Duralog. There was no filters for the included coffee grounds and I miss the breakfast that used to be included. I feel like being charged $300+ for middle of November stay is a bit much for what the room is.

Room was spacious, clean, well appointed.
Restricted hours for use of jetted tub meant we weren't able to use that as we were leaving early in the mornings for activities, and arriving back late in the evening after dinner and the use hours were posted as 10am to 9pm, which was not advertised in advance.

We loved everything. From the jacuzzi tub to the fire place and balcony. It was a short walk to where we could see the moonrise at night and the sunrise in the morning and only a short drive from Big Beach where we saw the sun set. I also liked that the host provided bear spray if we wanted to have it for walks. Thankfully the only wildlife we saw was deer, but that little touch was nice.
This doesn’t count as a real dislike, more of a wish. The only thing that would be nice would be a microwave, but there is a fridge, utensils and plates as well as a kettle and coffee pot.

The breakfasts were exceptionally good, and very lovely to be able to eat at a table in our room with a view of deer foraging outside. We appreciated the location, being able to walk into town very easily. Wonderful views of trees and a tidal river, fishing harbors nearby. The beginning of the Pacific Rim trail was very close by, a spectacular walk along rocky sea-shore among ancient forests. Kevin was exceedingly helpful and friendly, very accomodating and informative about the town and immediate region. We loved Ucluelet, such a beautiful setting within mountains and very pretty harbors. The suite we stayed in was elegantly designed and had everything we needed. A huge bathroom was an unexpected luxury with heated floors, so appreciated in the morning. A good variety of TV for the evenings when you're too exhausted from walking all day to do anything else. If you are celebrating a special occasion, we recommend making a reservation at Pulvio, on the main street in Ucluelet, for an amazing dinner of truly magnificent fresh, local food cooked to perfection. A real surprise to find something of that calibre in such a small place. Not cheap, but exceptionally good and adventurous cooking. We really enjoyed our time here. The suites are perfect and comfortable for two people. Oh, and there's a terrace outside as well complete with table and chairs - great to sit outside with a drink (there's a kettle and coffee machine in the room) and listen to the birds.
Maybe a reading light in the living area? Although very good reading lights on each side of the bed

Host was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Great to have a continental breakfast included. The room is bright, clean and spacious. Nice in the evening to be able to have a fire in the fireplace. And to soak in a jetted tub is always a welcome after a day of hiking and beach combing.

Really gorgeous, tastefully styled room with a beautiful, intimate view of a quiet inlet. We ended up spending a lot more time than expected in the room because it was just so lovely. The bed was very comfy and the big tub is awesome! Also appreciated the daily tidy and friendly service. The location is great, quiet and out of the way but a very quick drive into town or to trailheads. Definitely will be booking here again.
If I absolutely had to nitpick; the wifi got slow at some points, and we could hear the upstairs guests walking around quite a bit. But otherwise nothing bad to say about this place.

Wow! What a great B&B! We felt like we'd discovered a secret paradise. It was tucked away, surrounded by thick foliage and we followed a winding path to get to our door which opened into a wonderful space: a living/dining area with a fireplace and on the other side of the fireplace was the bedroom and then the huge bathroom. Thoughtfully stocked with dishes, kettle, coffee maker, log for the fire, instructions on the whirlpool bath. Breakfast was delicious and super healthy - lots of fresh fruit, yogurt and we could smell the huge, warm cinnamon buns before we opened the door! It was all delivered to the door at a pre-arranged time.
Not a thing.
