We were just on a 8 night road trip and this Sandman was the #1 stay out of all 8 nights. AND DORIAN at the front counter was the best. Room was spotless-Shower and comfortable bed were the best out of all 8 nights. Lots of great Restaurants nearby. At least a 9 out of 10 overall. Thank-You Sandman- you make Williams Lake Look like a spot i will stop at again. 👍🏻👍🏻

Nothing i did not like. Everything was perfect. A young man named DORIAN was the best. He seems like he has been behind the front counter for 10+ yrs. Thanks Dorian. You are a people person bigtime. 😊👍🏻

Comfee bed, boys had a blast in the pool.

No microwave. Called front desk, she was so very sorry. We had leftover pizza from our cooler ..... cold, as there was no microwave. Walked by an open room door 6 times, 2 hours after check in. lights were off. Knocked, turned light on... no one there, clean room...... also no microwave! Called front desk again to inform about the open room that also had no microwave. Cold cooler pizza it is I guess. Disappointed would give 5 points but cold pizza.

It was all good. Location is excellent. Very quiet. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Beds were very comfortable had a good night sleep

The only thing was the remote for the tv. You can’t get a guide to see what you’re going to watch. The tv is either at bed level or lower I can’t remember, but it needs to be up higher so either you look straight at it or up a bit at it not Down

The staff at the front desk were kind, helpful and patient. I wish I could remember the fellas name. He was very helpful and kind.

I don’t think it happens often but the fire alarm went off at 8 am. We were up for the day already so it wasn’t too bad.

I was not told that they clean your room every three days if you want your room cleaned you need to specify that you want it cleaned daily and the hallways look like they were not cleaned properly

The staff was very accommodating. Upgraded our room when they were having computer system issues. Very clean, & super comfy bed!! Will return!

I wish they had a hot tub, but the pool was still relaxing.

Everything with the hotel was excellent however as I was leaving a staff member opened the door I was on the phone and stepped through with an arm load of bags. Before I got a chance to even say thank you they gave attitude and a snarky comment!

I stayed at this Hotel on a solo motorcycle trip. Just before arriving I took a fall which did some damage to my ribs and rendered me immobile. Jacqueline, Debs and two guys really stepped up (sorry for any misspellings and for forgetting the guys names). Their positive, accommodating and supportive attitudes really took a lot of worry out of finding ways to deal with my injuries and get me and my bike back home. Can't thank them enough!

King suite was nice: carpet soft, bar stools in kitchen were very comfortable, TV channel listing in room was helpful. Front desk staff were very accommodating and responsive to my comments, as well as friendly.

There were a few things needing attention like a bathroom fan not working and no functional ice machine in the hotel but staff were going to be addressing these issues.

This is a friendly, clean and well-appointed hotel that is centrally located in Williams Lake. It is across the street from the Stampede Grounds and is walking distance to the cute downtown area and also to the more modern mall area with a variety of big box stores. Botanio Park is right behind the hotel as well. It used to be a golf course and is a lovely rolling hill area with picnic tables, beautiful views and plenty of space to stretch your legs. Since almost everything was shut down for COVID restrictions when we were there, the Stampede Grounds and Botanio Park really opened up our options for getting outside and enjoying a bit of outdoor time. The rooms are updated and well appointed. Our beds were really comfortable and the bathrooms were fresh and modern. The staff was friendly, professional and helpful. There is a “Dennys” restaurant downstairs and also a Tim Horton’s and Starbucks in easy walking distance.

Our room faced the air conditioner units and they were a little noisy and unattractive. It wasn’t the worst thing every, but I would ask for a room that faced the other side of the building if at all possible.
