Frantz Inn

My expectation was of an Austrian Inn with down comforters and cuckoo clocks but the Franz Inn is essentially a Sports bar with rooms attached. Once you get used to the idea that that's where your staying, it's great. Had a drink in the bar... watched some sports on TV, played a few slot games, and had chicken wings. The fact that I was by myself didn't alter the experience at all... a great night and fun. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

There was a strange ammonia-like odour in the hallway but not in the rooms; it's a bit of a drive from the TransCanada.

The staff were well trained, very nice and helpful. The restaurant served very good meals, we stayed 2 days and we ate all our meals there. For Breakfast they gave us coupon for 8 dollars for each person. This was a real nice bonus.

The only thing I didn't like, was we were in the back, and around 1am someone in the parking lot played music so loud ; at first I thought the sound of the base, was someone pounding on a door. Both nighs I was awoken to this noise

Good location. Restaurant and lounge very close and easy to walk to. Quiet and comfortable. Food was great. Good value and quality for the money spent. Easy access to Steinbach for car shopping or continuing on to Winnipeg. Plenty of light in the room and linens for the bath. Fresh room cleaned and spotless. Thank you

No clean remote program. Access restricted a bit cuz of security. Some people dislike keys and prefer cards for access. Bed access could be tight waking up for Biffy runs.

It’s a good place for stay. There are a lounge and a restaurant in the inn. So if you drunk you can easily get to your room. The staffs are great, they also provide a coupon for the breakfast at the inn’s restaurant for the next day’s morning.

Very nice hotel. 2 restaurants, a bar and a liquor store on site. Very nice for traveller, you don't have to go into town to find food. Staff was helpful and nice. Room was very nice, renovated and very clean. Wifi was fast and worked very well in the rooms and in the restaurant. VERY GOOD breakfast.

should warn guests up front that there is a bar/nightclub on site for those who wish to know in advance

it was clean. A little dated but well maintained. comfortable beds. ordered room service for supper, it was delivered to room quickly, food was delicious and large portions.

The air in the hotel rooms on the odd number side smelled musty and like urine. Some of the beds were more firm than the other.

About everything , had diner at the bistro. Best coconut curry chicken ever.

That this hotel has only 2 stars, i have stayed in many hotels, but this one need a minimum of three stars. Based on cleanliness, service ,restaurant , food and personal. Gonna stay here for sure again when im in the neighborhood

The staff was friendly and the food was good as well

I felt like the vlt area could be larger for the amount of machines they have. Also alot of machines were not working
