My wife and I have stayed at the Best Western Premier twice now for a weekend getaway/staycation. In my opinion, it's the best hotel value in Winnipeg. It's a new property; the rooms are modern, spacious, and clean. The pool is large compared to most hotels and has plenty of natural light. The exercise room is spacious and well-equipped for a hotel. However, this hotel stands out for its continental breakfast, which is the best I've ever experienced in the 150+ hotels I've stayed in. They've got staff making omelettes to order, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, trays of fresh fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, and several types of bread and cereal. It's incredible. While the rooms are not as upscale as you might find at the Delta or Fairmont, it's a much better value for families. The only potential downside is the location, if you're wanting to stay near the airport or downtown. This hotel is in the far east end of Winnipeg.

The cheerful, enormously energetic way that staff greeted, informed, and assisted guests. The creativity in presentation of excellent food, and in providing extras such as the hot wings competition! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

"Didn't like" is too strong, but...the microwave in my room was set very low to the ground. I am mobility compromised, and getting down to that level and reading the buttons was next to impossible. I did not actually require the microwave but noted this difficulty!

The breakfast was very good. Frances, the man who made the omelettes was great - very friendly and made yummy eggs. All the other staff we interacted with were also friendly and helpful.

Bedding needs to be cozier. Had to ask for extra blankets because standard ones were too light (not just temperature but feeling cozy). Rooms could use more cushions or soft furnishings, or something to make it feel warmer. Your modern decor with cool colours made the room feel kind of cold and sound reverberated.

Traveling as a family of 5 can make things difficult when looking for a room. We were very surprised at the spacious room we had at this hotel. It comfortably fit all of us. The décor was very modern. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool was clean and well kept. Breakfast was nice. Many close amenities and stores near by for those quick stops.

1 out of 2 elevators was not working for a bit. There was quite the wait with the elevators but it was fixed within the day of our check in...

The pool and hot tub.

I do not understand why the hotel does not allow guests to use the stairs, it is only an exit for the building instead of being an alternative to the elevator. I prefer using stairs instead of an elevator and it is very inconvenient that the stairs only lead out of the building. This is the only hotel where I have ever stayed that does not allow you to use the stairwell.

Very clean, modern, and comfortable. Staff are very friendly. The rooms are spacious. Breakfast was very good, the omelette station was amazing.

The bed was a bit short and my feet hung off the end a bit, which was strange since I'm not that tall. One of the elevators was broken during our stay and the remaining elevator got very backed up, especially during breakfast. We couldn't find any stairs that we could take instead, either.

The breakfast was great! My husband & I both got made to order omelettes which were excellent plus much more for breakfast!! That’s a big bonus! Our room was spacious & clean & comfortable! We would definitely stay there again!! The backyard has lovely patio furniture! Lots of room for parking front & back!

The pool was quite busy on the Saturday night we went down to use it. We did use the hot tub though which was nice!

There are some things that make this hotel very nice: The breakfast includes an omelet bar, and there are gluten-free breads available for people with a gluten problem. My wife has Celiac disease, and this is the first place we've stayed where the breakfast specifically met her needs, and it was hugely appreciated. There was an issue with the EV charger (see below), and the night manager went well beyond the call of duty to help me find a place to charge my car, and that was also hugely appreciated.

This hotel has ONE EV charging space. To be honest, they probably shouldn't even advertise themselves as having a charger. The charging space was taken when we pulled in, and the night manager put in the effort to locate a L2 charger nearby, physically inspect it, and then guide me to it. It was a profound display of devotion to customer satisfaction, so the EV charging thing was for us both a minus (grossly inadequate charging capability for a facility this size) and a plus (staff dedication to customer satisfaction).

I liked everything in this hotel: everything was organised, from the very start staff provided clear information sheet, rooms are clean and neat, design is beautiful, food is good. And it is pet friendly and pool is great, my kids enjoyed!

I think it would be great if you can provide extra blanket if family with kids is staying in one room. There was only one blanket for 4 people.

Beautiful hotel, love all the artwork. Everything is very clean, comfortable beds and excellent breakfast! Also my favorite LeBurgerweek burger so far!

The only disappointment was that we were hoping to use the hot tub in the morning but it was closed for cleaning even before it was open for the day. We originally thought there may have been a fouling, but he was putting chemicals in around 8:30 (pool opens at 9) and they have to sit for a few hours. Maybe it could be done during hours that the pool is closed instead? Honestly wasn't that big a deal.
