I loved that so many interesting places were within walking distance. The room and property felt clean and maintained. Staff was not fake-frielndly…they were professional & efficient:) the fun music in the lobby made me giggle/smile anytime i left or came back to the hotel.

Maybe the parking. You pay for parking but if u come back late or timing is bad u need to find street parking which isn’t always free…that added a little bit of hassle but nothing that would keep me from staying there again:)

clean, modern, bright, convenient location. beds are super comfy. ample closet space for extended stays - very homey feeling. staff is super helpful and kind. beautiful view of the waterfront and the building looks gorgeous at night when it’s lit up.

parkings a little tight at times (very limited). bathroom situations a little odd - there is a curtain to be pulled down for privacy as there’s a wall sized window from the bathroom to the main area. I think that it would be better suited for maybe a couple sharing a room but a little bit of a strange set up for friends travelling together. better lighting around the mirrors would be helpful and a few more toiletries such as a body wash would be nice. a way to stream Netflix or other streaming services from your phone onto the tv would be super helpful.

beautiful hotel and fun location

there was a party that was very loud and there was fighting so the police had to come - it was a little scary! it was unfortunate but I do not blame the hotel and would stay here again. However, I do believe they need more staff and security in the evenings to ensure the safety of their guests.

The Mere feels like part of the gentrification of the Winnipeg riverside, for better and for worse. The bike and walking path are lovely and there is a great restaurant next door and a greet coffee shop (Harrison's) nearby

Like many inner cities there's a mashup of money and new offerings but also homeless folks who are being displaced. We had some uncomfortable conversations and night-time noise.

We like the location on the river and walking distance to downtown restaurants. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Visiting Winnipeg in September the weather was comfortable and less crowded.

Nice place, comfy bed, TV channels were good, restaurants close by. Clean respectful hotel

Absolutely no parking, when I finally did find a place the hotel charged me 18 night for it, air conditioning did not work, front desk didn't care, just charge, charge, charge. No breakfast, microwave. Tiny fridge. Big bill. Scary at night, did not feel safe.

Location is amazing. Rooms are beautiful and clean.

I don't like that I had to pay for parking. I think that's ridiculous. It's a forced cost because obviously there's nothing else you can do with your car. $16 is not cheap either. Parking should be complimentary with stay.

lovely well appointed rooms.

did not realize they allowed pets. a bit disappointed in this as there were dogs and cats walking hallways. no breakfast in hotel and nothing close by to get a decent coffee. I would not recommend for this reason. there is coffee in room but frankly it does not count as a real morning coffee and certainly no way to make decent tea.

extremely comfortable room, well laid out, larger than expected. Excellent lighting, comfy bed, extra touches that added to the positive experience. I’d be happy to have a longer stay

a bit of hall noise, could hear doors closing, etc. an in-house coffee shop or restaurant would be nice.

Staff front desk

TV didn't work.waited 1and half hours. Texted pictures to husband and we fixed it. Safe didn't work had to be replaced took hour. No parking available was told I could have staff members spot and he gave it away to a truck in seconds by time I drove in. This was a Handicapped spot &I have this. I was given a dangerous spot where cars drive into the hotel. Then next night I was told to park on the street. They didn't charge 16./ night. But if you say you have parking. You should provide it. People are renting cars and need them protected.
