My room was very comfortable and had a wonderful view of the harbor and the boats. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was yummy. Barb and Joe were very reassuring about the safety of the property during Hurricane Lee, and indeed, having a quiet day indoors was pleasant under the circumstances. Lots of dining options within easy walking distance, and the ambiance of Digby was great. Good base to enjoy the sights from Yarmouth to Annapolis. Sitting on the lawn in the evening was a great way to meet other guests.

I can't blame Barb and Joe for a hurricane and the resulting cancelled whale watching. :-) Lots of other things to do, so no worries...

The view from our room was spectacular and on waterfront. The bed was very comfortable. The room itself was lovely. Great location walking distance to downtown and close to walking trails.

The breakfast setup is poor. They have two sittings. The first morning we had no choice but to go on the early sitting as the other was booked. This didn't suit us at all and it was clear from the response that there was no flexibility at all. So if we didn't go at the specified time wouldn't have had any breakfast. This is not made clear in the description in booking.com. Also there was no choice, you had to have what was put on the plate in front of you. Had we not liked or been able to eat any of it, again it was very clear that they are entirely inflexible about this. The food that was served was quite nice, but not enough of it.

Location is stellar, situated on the waterfront, within easy walking distance of restaurants. There are chairs at the edge of the water with a view of the harbour and beyond, for use of the guests. Our room was comfortably spacious and tastefully decorated. With 2 queen beds, nighttables and reading lamps. Beds and bedding and comfortable. Small table with 2 easy chairs, a small fridge and a coffee maker. Good bathroom. Working AC. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared, frittata, homemade hashbrowns, bacon, toast and a generous helping of fresh fruit. Coffee, tea and juice. Lovely service. Highly reccommend this place. Good value for money

I cannot think of anything that would have made our stay at this lovely place better. Will definitely come back.

Our room was a good size and very comfortable. It had a Balcony. It faced east so we’re lucky to see an amazing sunrise. Amazing view over the coast. Great breakfasts which set you up for the day. Barb and Joe were friendly and we had some lovely chats with Barb in particular over breakfast. Easy walking distance into the centre of Digby. Parking on the property.

Facilities are a bit older. Room was overall clean but could‘ve been cleaner (there were still some (animal) hairs on the sofa and on the small carpet by the entrance door).

Joe and Barb were exceedingly gracious and approachable. The view from our room was exquisite! The room was equipped with a mini fridge, coffee maker and was very clean. Breakfast was served at 9 and we were served the best waffles I have ever had!! Bacon was cooked to perfection and the array of fruit was beautiful. Location is ideal. We will be recommending this to our friends. Thank you for ending our trip to Canada on a high note.

We stayed in number 4, the room overlooking the harbour with a private balcony. It was wonderful to wake up to sunrise over the water and to go to bed with a view of the moonlight over the harbour. We also enjoyed sitting on the private deck in late afternoon and there were nice lawn chairs also on the lawn to sit and read or chat. The location is perfect, easy walking distance to many restaurants and to the fishing wharf.

No complaints. The TV was very small. We had lovely weather and didn’t need a TV, but if the weather had been rain a larger TV would have been nice.

We had a good stay. Central location, lovely home and friendly hosts. Very good breakfast and we enjoyed chatting with the owners while eating. We only stayed a night while returning home, but it was a great experience.

Comfortable room, but quite a lot of light coming in from the street - our room was right in front. Most rooms wouldn't have that issue, but darker curtains would help.

Conveniently located with a wonderful seating area outdoors to watch the tides and oversee the entire Digby harbour. Lovely front porch seating as well. The staff was helpful & friendly. Kermit was especially friendly. Breakfast was excellent and served quite promptly.

The breakfast was wonderful. It set us up for the rest of the day. Location made everything downtown walkable. Hosts were friendly and knowledgable Room and common areas were comfortable

As it was hot weather and our room faced southwest the air conditioning was necessary. Unfortunately it was an older unit and was a bit loud. However, it did keep the room cool.
