The location is fantastic, can easily walk to many hotspots in town.

I was not provided a password for the WiFi, and by the time I returned after supper, there was no staff present to ask, so. was not able to use the WiFi. Although breakfast was supposed to included, when I came down for breakfast at 8:45 there was no staff to be found. When I call the number posted for assistance (as well as the house phone), I got an automated message and had to go find breakfast off site. When I returned to check out at 10:30, there was still no staff were present and again no one answering the phone. I left a message regarding having to leave and I was checking out, no one ever returned my call.

The location is good. Short walk to restaurants. The staff were as helpful as they could be. Not very well versed on the area. Breakfast was good.

The property needs a refresh. The gardens and grounds are in need of a good cleaning and pruning. The lawns desperately need to be mowed. For the cost of one night the property is not being kept up properly and not what you would expect for the price. Bathrooms need a complete refresh. I noticed there was upgrading being done on decks and stairs which is good.

Breakfast choices were good. Service was efficient and friendly. Beds were comfortable. Outdoor space was available and location was in walking distance to cafes & pubs.

The grounds were not mowed or weeded.

What a beautiful historic inn! And the owners/staff were very attentive to details that made the stay outstanding. Even took our luggage upstairs which was very thoughtful. We had a view of the waters from our third floor large room. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer than one night. Breakfast was delicious, and in lovely dining area which was nicely dressed with many choices for breakfast.

We'd left a few windows slightly open that night because we like the room cool for sleeping; unfortunately there was some disturbances outside in the middle of the night that woke us up, both around 1:30 am and then again around 3 am. Seemed highly unusual since the location is in a residential area. Our best guess is it had something to do with the large number of people in town for the marathon, who might have partied too much.

Great breakfast

Only complaint is that wifi had trouble reaching the top (3rd) floor room we were in . I think the fhireplace’s chiimney may block it. Plus ceilings are high, so the 3rd floor is very high up. Wifi was completely reliable in the lounge and dining area. I was very happy to find out that a good basic breakfast is included. - toast, scrambled eggs, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, coffee, tea with milk and non-dairy options, orange juice. Very friendly and accommodating staff

The room was perfect for three friends to share, and the included breakfast was lovely and much appreciated. We are considering making our excursion an annual trip and will definitely be back.

The room should include the appropriate number of each item to match the number of guests - I.e. three glasses, three hand/bath towels, etc. Also there was no hand or bath soap at all for washing.

Beautiful property, sitting areas outside were lovely. Very nice staff! Location was excellent, walking to restaurants and bars is close by.

Breakfast could use some improvement on food as fruit was rotten and eggs barely cooked. Table and silverware were dirty.

The room was beautiful with a fire place.

The check in could've been faster. When we arrived the facility manager wasn't even aware of our reservation. The room was not made and therefore we had to wait standing at the bottom of the stairs with our bags till the room was made. The room was on the 3rd level but there were no elevators and therefore we a little challenging to carry our bags up the stairs.

Breakfast was good. Very beautiful old house

A coffee / tea maker in the room would be nice. The toilet seat in our room was loose as it was a year ago (Same room). The TP holder was off the wall. Only needs a new screw to fix it. Small stuff!
