I loved the olde charm & what they could update in the Inn they did, like a super comfy bed, fresh smelling linens and heated bathrooms floors! Plus they brought us scones, not sure if that was to go with the tea or just what you get at breakfast but they were delish. Staff were all so kind and accommodating, plus helpful beyond what I expected

The prices of the regular breakfast were rather steep, but the Sunday brunch was absolutely worth it. The soap offered was good but I didnt like the shampoo or conditioner. The shampoo either didnt smell good or was old.

We loved our room and the balcony over the dam, we could leave the door open and hear the water. The room was perfect for our needs, cozy, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our walk to get breakfast and so appreciated the view from every window where we sat, the water, the daffodils and birds. Just so relaxing and inviting. The food was amazing, the service excellent, the staff was attentive and courteous, the presentation of the food was wonderful. The extras just added a sense of luxury to an already wonderful experience. We both appreciated the fresh decaf coffee both mornings, the generosity of the response to our request for decaf and the rich flavour of the coffee. Thank you.

That we didn't bring our suits to enjoy the pool! A larger map of the walking trails would have been appreciated. We cannot think of anything else that fell short of expectations. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The pool facility was great. The room excellent. Our breakfast incredible. Our hostess and food were amazing. Outdoor walkabout really nice with the trees and running water lots to check out. Our room was beyond clean and loved the hand written welcome note from Maria. Loved the kitchen keurig in our room with coffee and tea. Well done all staff were excellent that we met.

Did not realize the facility had more than one site to stay at so kind of confusing when you first check in that you may not stay where you register but nice and close to the pool so we were very happy about that. Would have liked to be able to get ice for our room bit could not find a spot to secure ice for drinks in the room but did have an ice bucket and lovely wine glasses.

First impression was that the venue was dated and in need of some attention to the decor, but the quickly grew on us as we realized the transformation of a historic woolen mill. Location is lovely surrounded by forest and very quiet. The music of the flowing stream was a very pleasant background. Breakfast was a great value. At a table overlooking the stream, I had a three egg omelet filled with generous amounts of cheddar and smoked bacon, accompanied by hash browns and rye toast, with endless cups of coffee. My wife had huge fluffy pancakes with smoked bacon. A bonus was the unexpected initial serving of a homemade scone with strawberry jam and a fruit cup - all for $15 each!! The staff were very attentive and friendly. The bed was very comfortable. We would stay there again.

No elevator, not a problem for us, but could be a problem for others. The carpet on the stairway had seen better days and the fire door at the top of the stairs needed a paint job. Small things but detracted from our initial impression.

We loved the big spacious room, the beautiful views, the pool etc. Was excellent and the food was really good. We especially enjoyed the unique hot tub and the scones and jam- those are something we'd tell other people about. As well as the history of the property, very interesting.

My only complaint really would be the curtains in the room. They barely met and covered the window. Then the top arched window was not covered at all. This being a privacy issue mostly because there was another building looking down on us. And it was a bit bright in the morning, for those of us who don't want to wake up with the sun during their stay. Add some black out curtains that fit all windows and this place would be phenomenal👌

privacy, quiet, rustic, beautiful grounds. We enjoyed our view of the water. Our bed was comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

bathtub did not have an anti slip mat. the hall carpets were old and stained. We did not have a suitcase stand. The restaurant was not open for dinner on our first night. I was difficult to find a place to eat in Goderich on Tuesday evening

The property was awesome and so were the staff. I had an amazing spa experience with Shannon. The pool, sauna, and hot tub were great! And dinner at the Ivey dining room was delicious 😋

Wish there was a fridge in the room but definitely not a deal breaker

Brunch was excellent! Bed very comfortable. Room dated but clean. It was quiet. Location amazing.

We were not able to eat lunch or dinner at the Inn due to a wedding function. Would have liked to have known this at time of booking.

Absolutely beautiful location and hotel

Well it was an inn and spa. We wanted to have massages and facials and get things done but the spa wasn't open at all. The phone didn't work and when we talked to the girl at the front desk her attitude about it was very poor. She stated they've been down for months and no one seemed to care. When I sent an email to try to book something for the spa because the phones were down I didn't get a response until after checkout stating that there was no availability.

Breakfast choices were limited but they were of excellent quality. The little extras ( scones and homemade strawberry jam) were delicious. The server was very friendly and professional. The outdoor patio and garden were beautiful.

The bed linens were on the rough side. The ambient temperature in the pool area was very high, making lounging pool side stifling.
