I like the location of the stay close to most needed things. There was plenty of selections for hot breakfast in the am. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Felt rested and relaxed from highway travel. The front desk folks are awesome. My room was very clean and the bedding simple. Room temperature good on 70 and simple to use. Blueberry Jam a plus and fresh fruits. 5am start at brekkie awesome to because of the time changes for travel

For some reason my hand shower gizmo would not attach square to the holder...so trying to stand under the shower stream was not going to happen. So just wash with the wand. There were 3 yellow lights and 1 blue light in the washroom which I found odd and funny. There was no clean remote program but I mentioned it to the front desk and left a personal note for the manager. Kenora is a tourist spot so good to know about it

Breakfast was excellent and with variety of choices, staff are so friendly and very helpful,room are so clean and i saw how they clean the room when we are passing by and they clean every corner of the room even the wall trust me lol,we’ve been in all hotel in town of kenora and super 8 was the best i don’t usually comment but i guess they deserve this.

This hotel has become our preferred Hotel every time we visit Kenora. The rooms are clean, the staff are always friendly and eager to assist, and they provide wonderful customer service everytime. On the Monday morning of our leave, they were assisting (what appeared to possibly be) hospital overflow patients and went above and beyond by assisting to prepare their meals at the breakfast buffet, and knowing their guests on a first name basis - it was just a really wonderful feeling to see that. Good job ladies! Keep up the care and kindness!

The room was clean and spacious. There was good parking for motorcycles, Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Location was right off the highway. Over all great experience.

Check-in took a while. There were a lot of people in line. There were 2 people in the office but only one was helping with check-in. Apparently we have been told by a few locations that when you book through booking.com you automatically get put on the upper floor.

The location is what I expected, Downtown Kenora. The room was large and very clean. The building was very quiet. The walkways getting to side entrances were covered in very deep packed snow, so one had to be very careful. The wooden staircase to the second level from the outside was pretty narrow for someone carrying large luggage items. I found it odd that this "Super 8" offered free breakfast, but it was a bagged breakfast. My previous night in Hearst, offered a Continental breakfast, and the room was open. Maybe it was local regulations that required this. A cold bagged breakfast was not great. I found this a little expensive, the room and building was definitely newer and nicer than the one in Hearst, but not worth twice the price. However that could be the location and demand. The beds were comfy, but the mattress support was Melamine, and if you leaned against the side of the mattress, it would slide.

Good selections once you knew where to find things. Don’t like plastic cutlery and serving utensils for cooked food should be separated for those with allergies!

No daily cleaning due to staff shortages…. Understandable but still disappointing

The staff was absolutely amazing. Not just because we got upgraded to the honeymoon suite. We watched them interact with all customers and they were stellar.

Nothing. From the lemon water to the breakfast, it was perfect.

There was free soup and cookies in the evening & a pretty extensive breakfast.

Room had an odor of a men’s locker room. I don't know if it's the cleaning supplies they use but the smell dissipated after leaving the window open for a while. Expensive for a Super 8.

we had to be moved to a different room because we found cockroaches in the bathroom. totally grossed me out had to stay the night anyways because we had no where else to go and plus I would’ve been charged the night anyways if I left.

What a lovely stay, we enjoyed this Super 8 very much! Helpful staff, pet-friendly spacious/ quiet room and a great breakfast to start our day ☺️. Accommodations like the Kenora Super 8 make travel a joy. Thank you.
