Spacious room, comfy bed, nice vista across the lake from the balcony. Canoes for free, at least during our pre-season stay we could go whenever we wanted. Sweet little pool and sauna (giggled at the numerous signs posted to keep the Europeans from going naked). Quick drive to Parry Sound with it's quaint downtown street and good restaurants to watch trains rambling across the trestle.

Breakfast was a la carte instead of buffet which made sense given we there were app. a dozen guests (stayed a few nights in late May), so we didn't mind as such, but limiting it to one plate and one side (which meant you couldn't get buttered toast and a yogurt with your scrambled eggs) probably wasn't necessary. Dinner restaurant prices seem fairly upscale, food was good but not quite as exquisite as you'd probably expect.

The location is great, the cleanliness is remarkable from early in the morning the staff starts cleaning and organizing the beach area. There is an indoor swimming pool but the water is cold. There are two types of rooms the standard ones that are not renovated and Delux ones that are renovated. Overall we loved our stay. If you need to go somewhere for relaxation it is the place. There are some small boats on the beach area that guests can use free of charge and it's wonderful. Photos are taken from the standard room.

There are too many wooden stairs. Please consider giving the first-floor rooms to people with infants since they can't use the stroller. Unfortunately, one of us fell down and got injured while walking down the stairs.

A little gem indeed, perfect for a couple of days away from the city noise. Loved the location, the restaurant, the lake view.

They are a lot ducks wondering on the beach and on green areas, which is lovely, but also a lot of poop everywhere. You can not walk bearfoot on the sand or grass without getting dirty, or leave your toddler playing around. They could do a better job cleaning, at least 2 twice per day. If you want to take lunch or dinner at their restaurant you must book a table in advance, even if the restaurant is quite big. We didn’t know that. They had a very big group 20-30 people on a private party on Saturday night and most of the restaurant was booked.

Friendly staff, easy check-in. Room was newly renovated, clean bathrooms. Restaurant served a good and tasty dinner. Breakfast simple and filling. Canoes, kayak and a paddle boat was available for guests. The bonfire added a nice touch to the evening !!

Due to an unprecedented power outage, there was no running water on the last morning of our stay. A major inconvenience since we could not brush, shower or flush !! It would be nice to have a generator to provide running water for basic activities......even for 10 minutes !!! Or provide a bottle or two of water for daily ablutions....

Honestly one of the best places I have been too in awhile. The front desk lady named Heather was amazing, her customer service was phenomenal. I had one of the greatest times with my family. I discovered a new passion for kayaking. I highly recommend this place for so many reasons, super clean and spacious, positive and courteous staff and location, location, location.

The truth- I hate that we had to leave. For the first time, in a long time, I felted relaxed and so comfortable, even one with nature.

Room was clean and had everything we needed (nice beds, comfortable mattresses, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, table). Beach is clean, lots of kayaks, canoes for free, water activities. Good breakfast in the restaurant included, and we ordered good dinner for reasonable price. There is a hiking area, pool and lots of space to spend time with family.

First day we came at 4pm and room wasn't ready. So we waited on the beach for an hour. But last day I asked to stay a bit longer in the room and got an answer: "you have to leave the room at 10am, because we have guests for your room today". If you are so punctual in checking out, please be punctual to prepare the rooms on time for check-in. Anyway, we stayed at the beach after check-out and it was just a little drop off disappointment.

Great scenery and breakfast. Front staff very accommodating. This company had done so many improvements since taking over last year. It's been my go to place to go for more than 30 years

Neighbors were a little load one night, but I was young once so hope they had fun. Didn't make a dinner reservation one night and couldn't get in for dinner had to go to town. My fault, but disappointing that they couldn't find room for 2 people

I loved the Breakfast Buffet and being able to use the kiddie sized kayaks. The pool, of course, is wonderful and the gym is excellently equipped.

Our room was not quite ready to check-in-to at 3:00 so we had to just wait a little while until it was ready, but it would have been nice to have been allowed to stay a little longer before we had to check-out at 11::00, just to balance it out - that would have been nice.

Resort was very clean. We were in an upgraded king room which was nicely decorated with modern new bathroom and linens. Staff work hard to provide good service. The property is pretty. Beach is very clean with lots of chairs. Restaurant on site was convenient for meals since the resort isn't close to other meal options. Kayaks, paddle boards, pedal boats and life jackets are free to use.

Everywhere in cottage country is short staffed and this resort is as well but the limited staff are doing their best. As a result, our room wasn't cleaned the first day and we needed to call for replacement towels. Room was missing drinking cups and tissues in the bathroom. Coffee machine wasn't working, second tv remote was missing but they brought us one when we called the front desk. More sun unbrellas on the beach would be nice.

The location and the amenities were very fair to the price

Breakfast staff was short, same in the evening when we reserved for dinner (we were told at check in that we needed to make reservations for supper) kitchen seemed slow, even though there were very few tables being served, however, our waiter absolutely made up for the slow service. Overall very pleased, food was great!! Also large variety of drinks!
