We were quite surprised to see such a nice, clean room for what we paid. I understand that the hotel is being renovated, that's perhaps why we paid less, nevertheless, there was no noise, our room was brand new, and the beds and bedding were outstanding and the room temperature was excellent. There was no access to the gym and no breakfast at this time but again, we had a great night.

The new furniture was designed to look great and be practical, however, access to some electrical ports and coffee maker was tricky. It didn't bother us at all, we just simply noticed that a bit more attention to detail would be helpful in preventing the hotel from having to redo it.

The very comfortable beds were the best. The individual Keurig machine for coffee was great. The facility was quiet; I did not notice any noise from the renovations going on. Lovely decor.

I was somewhat apprehensive about booking this hotel after reading a number of negative reviews. They were all unfounded. This is the nicest place I've stayed in Sarnia so far. The unavailability of restaurants and other amenities was reflected in the price.

The bed was so comfy; the room was very spacious; the bathroom was really nice; other amenities were nice.

There was dust on the second shelf when we first went in; there was a water leak on the wall behind the toilet; for such a great hotel, the toilet paper and kleenex were inferior; the shelf in the shower for the soap was wide wire so the small soap kept falling through to the floor.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Check in and out were quick. They gave us an upgrade, great room. Comfortable, clean and small kitchenette. Hallways were clean and nicely done too. Easy to park.

Currently under construction, so we were not able to try any other amenities or food of the hotel.

The bathroom was lovely as were the beds. Good view too. It seems that most of the Reno money has been spent on bathrooms and beds - which is good but the fake wood floorboards are really cheap and poorly installed.

The flooring was starting to come loose. Some of the peel and stick floor boards weren't sticking to the floor in our room. I bet that some of the floor strips will come off completely within the year.

Staff is amazing. Kind, responsive and attentive to client’s request. Rooms and bathroom seem to be recently renovated, and were well cleaned. Great location, 5 min drive to good restaurants, parks, and beach.

There was ongoing construction, but it did not directly impacted our stay.

Room is super clean, newly renovated or remodeled. Good size tv (70”?). Bar fridge, microwave, coffee machine are provided. Loved that only the part where the beds are is carpeted.

Still under construction so there’s no access to some of their amenities. No USB ports; bathroom door doesn’t lock at room 263 A small sofa would be nice near the window/veranda.

Newly renovated room is clean and comfortable. Complimentary bottles of water and coffee maker in the room are really hospitable. Hotel manager Hilary and receptionists Mike and Brenda are really nice and helpful.

i come here all the time and love the hotel even with the construction. most of the staff is exellent and very professional

There is a new i think staff member i asked for some help and she was very impolite rude and not the least bit professional .i just retired after 40 years of serving.the public and she just has not got it.

Newly renovated room was very comfortable and clean

High ceilings combined with an only.partially carpeted floor meant voices and noise echoed through the room and seemed louder than expected. The tiled floor is easier to keep clean but some sort of sound deadening on the upper walls would help.
