Hôtel Versō

amazingly friendly staff, we had a lot of questions and requests and they accommodated all with a smile. they even helped us with kitchen utensils to reach in and unlock our car when we had locked the keys in the car. they go above and beyond. rooms were spotless and beautiful. can’t beat the location. like, literally, no other property exists with that placement and view.

bed was a bit soft for our liking, but that’s us, we like the mattress very firm. we were there in may, so trees didn’t have all their leaves, so good view to the lake. I wonder if when they are all plentiful, is your view from the 2nd floor impacted?

We enjoyed a quiet suite on the eighth floor. Hotel is located in an area with various good dining options, and walking opportunities. MacLaren to the Canal, Elgin up to Parliament Hill, or down to some dining experiences. Somerset West to other dining experiences. The front desk staff was always very helpful, as was the cleaning staff. On site garage parking was also a plus. Breakfasts were very basic, yet was all we needed to start our day. Nice to be able to grab a bagel an toast in your own suite.

The view was beautiful; the room was spacious and nicely designed; the bed was comfy; and Louise at the front desk was exceptionally delightful!

The room was dark. We had some confusion upon arrival, as the bottom half of the sign that essentially said "Hotel Reception This Way" was covered with snow so that it looked like it said "Hotel Reception." Therefore, wee had a bit of a hike through the condos.

The location was exceptional to be near the water and able to walk downtown. The patio was not set up, so we made our own way to sit outside and enjoy. The room was very small considering expectations. We didn’t have a couch but two reading chairs, and no fireplace which I thought all rooms had. Our first night we ate at restaurant so didn’t need to drive anywhere which was luxurious. Great food and good experience. No pool or other bonus amenities but we enjoyed.

awesome location. with the restaurant out back on the lake and the bike path right there, you can’t get a better location. beds and AC were great.

elevator would have been nice since I happen to have a knee injury at the time but obviously not the end of the world. parking was ok but not great. a nearby festival may have contributed to that issue. showers were interesting too but I’m nitpicking. place was great.

The room was spacious and comfortable, very clean. The bed was comfortable. The location and lake view were wonderful. We very much appreciated the Nespresso coffee machine in the room!

The room rate was a bit on the high side. There was no lift and not enough ramp to get bags to the 2nd floor.

Nice renovations, very clean.

The price. More expensive than it should be for a very small room. The 5:30am train whistle (5 times) right in front of hotel is unnerving and unexpected, albeit not the hotel's responsibility but they could have warned us about it.

We loved the view of the lake! It's the perfect location! All the staff was friendly and helpful. Super clean and quiet. The hotel was perfect for our family! We will be returning next year!!!

Loved the renovations. Bed was really comfortable. Restaurant was closed on Monday which surprised me as no one mentioned it to me. Staff was very friendly.

Restaurant was closed for breakfasts when I was there.
