helpful, courteous staff. beautiful setting, lots of outdoor seating by the river, gorgeous Art Deco indoor pool. very interesting manoir next door, lovely walking trails and close to the pretty village of Montebello.

no paper or pens in the bedroom. only one jacuzzi working in the indoor swimming pool. guests shouldn’t automatically have to pay a daily activities surcharge -it should be levied only when the activities are used. it is not clearly stated and unfair for those people who only use the indoor pool which has always been included in the room rate. We do not own a car and it would have been good to have a shuttle bus to Masson to catch a bus-there must be other guests who need public transport to get to the hotel in this day and age.

We loved the hotel, the location and the little town of Montebello....The pool was great, the grounds beautiful and the nature walks fabulous....It was our second trip to the Fairmont Montebello and was great!!The morning buffet breakfast FABULOUS...

Tjhe main Lobby needs some minor renovations....ie...the couch cushions were torn and in need of re-uphholtering...Some of the evevator carpetting needs a little renewing too....That was all ...everyhing else was very lovely...

The Chateau Montebello is an iconic location and perfect for a winter weekend getaway. Having a wine or cocktail by the fireplace in the cozy lobby is an event in an of itself. Our room was comfortable and cozy. Staff throughout the hotel were excellent. Room service was fast and food excellent. Love this place!

A few things could be improved: While I appreciate the rustic charm of the place, bathrooms are in need of upgrades. Tub was slow to drain while showering. The interior pool is amazing and we appreciated the extended opening hours until 8pm the holidays. But the whole hall was rather dimly lit with the pool lights out. It could be so much more inviting and friendly with better lighting. we asked for bathrobes and were told they were all in the laundry. “Maybe tomorrow,” we were told. A resort like this should have bathrobes for every guest.

The grounds of Montebello are wonderful. Breakfast buffet is delightful, if a tad expensive, but worth it overall. There is a warmth and beauty to Montebello that leaves you feeling peaceful and refreshed.

I thought the restaurant was expensive for dinner. We had a lovely dinner in Montebello village the second night that was much less expensive.

Beautiful hotel. There are many things to do for adults and children. We spent only one night, but I would recommend at least two to have an opportunity to see everything. The staff are friendly, helpful and very accommodating.

The rooms are small. It is a tight squeeze for a family of 4. The food is expensive and does not have a very varied menu.

It was absolutely wonderful to celebrate my daughter’s birthday here. Patric from the Concierge organized a welcome surprise for my birthday girl, and she loves it. Hotel has many activities for kids and adults, my little one never get bored during our stay. Also the stuff from the restaurant let you feel very welcome, especially a young girl who served us most of the time, it’s quite a pity that I didn’t have her name. We will definitely come back.

The charging cable for the new iPhone won't work with the lamp's socket, hopefully you could update them in the near future.

Absolutely beautiful location and gorgeous hotel.

Staff needs to spend some time cleaning the forgotten areas. The baseboards and slats on the closet door in the room was very dusty! The king mattress was soft in the middle so when you laid down you would roll to the center. Hotel is looking worn-out from the outside. The roofs are all looking in disrepair. The parking lot is very rough, like driving on the moon. Sad to see the huge brunch they used to have before covid has not returned. Was just a basic with nothing really special.

The overall site is amazing and very cozy during this time of year especially with the fireplace always going. Really appreciate the food at the restaurant. Everything was excellent. Good quality and price. We had both breakfast and dinner and the service was also to part. Room service was also very quick. Enjoyed the tubing and hiking trails.

I would have appreciated have the fire pit outside on. If they were I was not well announced. In the bedroom, I was really disappointed about the comforter on the bed. It is a sheet that does not really cover the duvet. For this type of hotel and price for the room I would expect better comforter. The TV is not a SmartTV and this should be a must as well.

The lobby area was lovely. Staff were all very friendly. The spa was gorgeous. The buffet breakfast was underwhelming for the price (would like more options, no croissants, no egg station - sausages and “omelettes” dry and inedible) but restaurant staff excellent. Room service was fast and delicious.

I miss the old plaid curtains and bedspreads the change from a family friendly to adult is sad used to have a dog named Bella who lived in the hotel games room and ping pong tables are gone it was nice for parents to relax knowing where the kids were safely hanging out
