Fabulous location for my purpose, attending JazzFest. There are many cafes, shops, banks and restaurants nearby, plus a metro station. Pleasant neighborhood near university. Would like to stay at same hotel again and explore the area a bit more. The room was very comfortable and had a great view. Room very clean and convenient, with coffee machine, safe, etc. Quiet, too.

The parking information was deceptive. I wrote ahead to ask about parking, as any downtown parking is complicated. The response was to refer me to their valet parking, even though I specifically asked about other options. I did some digging and found parking in a garage nearby for much less money. Guess this must be a profit maker for them. I heard a front desk employee use the same line on a guest checking in.

it’s located on an uphill, so we had a bit of challenge finding it on our first night. but once we got to know the bus system, the hotel location is pretty convenient. the staff are very helpful. they speak fluent French and English. they are prompt with requests like additional towel (and a bucket of ice when one of our companions had sprained her ankle). wifi is fast. decors are nice and elegant. im not sure about the noise that other reviews mentioned, but our room was located on the top floor (5th), and we didn’t here any party noise. will definitely come back again <3

We absolutely loved this hotel. It is modern and beautifully decorated--art deco. The rooms have all of the most up-to-date amenities and furnishings. We loved that the door into the toilet also closed off the room from the bathroom area---very clever design. Two suggestions: The coffee maker is terribly cumbersome, and I would love for the hotel to come up with an alternative that does not use pods (eco-friendly). The pods kept falling into the reservoir and we had to retrieve them to use them. I also had difficulty figuring out the two different options in the shower. I never did figure out how to use the wand without soaking myself with the rain shower thing. How about some instructions for us non-engineer types? I want to compliment the staff, all of whom were helpful and professional and friendly. This is a great location close to the subway station and Chinatown. Highly recommend it (with instructions, of course!

The hotel is very close to bus stops. There are many restaurants around the area. Didn’t use the gym but it has a lot of machines and weights. The checkin and out process was fast and smooth. The club wasn’t open while we were there so it was fairly quiet. However, you will hear sirens and cars if your room is facing the gas station.

Modern interior and clean. Good location to reach various places across Montreal but close enough to walk to Old Montreal etc. Parking at site with valet service. Got nice room for our honeymoon stay.

Bit loud at times with noise from the street, maybe due to the old windows? AC was bit loud and bathroom doors were vibrating slightly when closed.

The location is superb, walking distance to Place des Arts, and lots of restaurants in the plateau direction.

The curtains do not overlap so light from the street lamppost shines in. One has to carefully position the curtains to minimize the gap.

the restaurant needs more of a selection. my last night was horrible as my floor had hard core partiers going on all night being very loud until 4 am. no sleep on a business trip is awful.

I loved everything about this hotel. There’s a lovely outdoor patio to have a cocktail. The room was clean and very comfortable. It was very quiet and restful. The valet parking was easy!

I do think that if the breakfast was less expensive, more people would participate in it. One woman cannot eat $23.00 worth of food.

Location was great, the staff was friendly and the room was spacious. The decor and style looks modern and chic.

The valet system is a bit of a hassle. It would be nice to be able to self park and self retrieve the car. Toilet is in a separate room from the bathroom. The fan in that room did not work.

Needs way more hooks in the bathroom to hang towels, a little bit expensive, maybe charge less for a gas station view
