Very good! Located in a safe area, very close to McGill University, I was worried at first after seeing so many bad reviews online, but I decided to try it because they have parking, although there is limited parking behind the hotel, it doesn't seem to be a problem, customers come and go, there is always parking available. The hotel seems to be converted from an old apartment, but this is not a problem at all, it is fairly clean, and my room has a small refrigerator and microwave. The windows can be opened and you can breathe fresh air. If you are visiting Montreal and would rather spend money on sightseeing and eating than spending too much on a hotel, I recommend this hotel.

I suggested it would be nice if the old sleeper chair could be removed instead of putting more chairs in the room

The staff at this hotel were very kind and accommodating. My room was great, a good size with a great view of the art mural across the street. The shower worked well, the bed was comfortable, the building was quiet, and I slept like a baby. There was also a mini-fridge and a microwave which is always handy. Perfect location 5 minutes from Place des Arts, and a short walk to Parc Mont-Royal, McGill, and Old Montreal.

There could have been an extra mirror or two (especially a full-length mirror) in the room.

Location, location location . Walking distance to everything. Basilica of Notre Dame . China town . Old port. Diff areas in old Montreal.. service with a smile mostly . Bed and room were Clean free parking !

Property Is Old. Upper rooms smell damp. Lower rooms are bright but since on street levels maybe noisy. Room was not cooling and we did have a restless night Showers are tricky on hot and cold water. Parking is free but leave cars keys with desk so your car can be moved .

staff were great! helpful and friendly, made checking in and out easy. The locations amazing, especially for the price of the room, so close to everything and great for anyone on a budget.

The hotels old but that was expected, the only thing I would say is bigger shower towels would be nice the biggest ones they had were still quite small.

The location was great, parking was super easy and there were plenty of spots. There was also free parking on the street outside the hotel. the room was clean and staff was very friendly. They held our bags and let us park before check-in. We were able to walk to the old town in less than 20 min, passing many landmarks along the way. Would definitely stay here again. Great price, clean, safe, and free parking! So happy we chose to stay here and saved some money compared to other hotels in the area!

Everything was great!

Amazing location! most museums and attractions are within walking distance (10-20 min). The room #20 was fairly spacious for a hotel. Nice window. Free parking space was a really great bonus.

Oldish, dated, worn out properly. it was very noisy, with the reception above my room, the windows facing the street, and the staff communicating loudly for such small property. The bed was way too soft, no support. There was a smell of cigarette smoke most times, which I disliked. The shower temperature was hard to control and keep stable, the bathtub was slippery. No shampoo or body wash provided, let alone any tea or coffee.

The location is amazing. 24 hour cafe/resto nearby. Bus and Metro close by. Bar/patio across the street. Restaurants, mall, gym with summer swimming pool up the street.

The sofa is passable but should be replaced.

Location is close to Old Montreal, Basilica of Notre Dame, Rue Ste Catherine, and Chinatown. Walkable to Parc du Mont-Royal. Metro food Mart is a block away. Clean room and comfortable bed.

Parking can be tricky. Hotel is on Rue Sherbrooke at Rue Jeanne-Mance. Remember that Rue Jeanne-Mance is a one-way street. Parking is at back of building. The reception desk people are good at directing you. Note, no elevator.

The room was very quiet and comfortable. It included a mini fridge, telephone, microwave and television. The bed was super comfortable. Very cozy and aesthetically pleasing. The private bathroom was very clean and had great hot water; which is a blessing after walking around Montreal all day ❤ Great location. We were able to walk to dozens of exceptional bars, restaurants, charcuteries, shopping centers in 20 mins or less. The staff were super helpful and always smiling. Was pretty easy to find for two new arrivals. Limited parking in rear, but we took advantage of weekend on street parking nearby to leave room for others. Wouldn't hesitate to book there again. Very welcoming

The room was well-kept, the bed comfortable. There is a small corner with sink, towels & a mirror where you can wash yourself without having to take a shower. The location was ideal for what we needed.

The front rooms have traffic noise as a no-charge supplement (joke!). You can ask (but they cannot guarantee) for a room in which the windows are facing the back of the building: you will have a much quieter night! The bathrooms with toilet/bath/shower/sink are VERY small so the cleaning space in your room is very handy.
