Coast Swift Current Hotel

The room was spacious and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a door to the outside so I could take my dog in and out without going through the rest of the hotel. I could park right outside my door to make loading and unloading of luggage very easy. And my dog got some cookies.

I got a mosquito bite while walking my dog at the back. Not the hotel's fault. I just attract mosquitoes. Also I couldn't figure out how to pull does the shower head to make it work.

Had to wait 10 min for more hot breakfast to be made , but French toast was worth the wait, luckily I wasn’t in a hurry. Breakfast area set up funky. Drinks off in a corner. Busing plates you had to go to 2 different locations to toss your garbage and put your dishes, didn’t see any place for napkins or other compost

See above and Laundry cost $10 to do a load. $4 to wash and $6 to dry since it took two cycles. Brought me own detergent

The Aircon worked, liked having a separate entrance. Good facilities. Friendly staff. Loved the shower gel.

The bed linens were too loose on the bed. The sheets weren't tight over the corners of the mattress and I kept waking up entangled in the overly large fitted sheet. The bathtub floor was very slippery, there wasn't a texturized base so that you didn't slip around during the shower. Only 2 bath towels,? More towels would be handy.

I liked the friendly and helpful staff particularly Debra. She was most helpful getting bottled water for my pet.

My only thing I didn’t enjoy was the bagged breakfast….in fact we didn’t take it went down the road to Tim Hortons…. The hotel would be much more enjoyable if it had a breakfast room for people to enjoy before their departure with a little variety.

Considering Covid protocols were in the place, the breakfast was well handled with a very good variety to choose from. The bed was very comfortable and firm enough to support my bad back. Staff were friendly and accommodating when I left earlier than originally planned. They found my breakfast and brought it to the front desk ahead of my planned schedule. I appreciated they insisted that people wear masks in the public areas. The hotel is close to a variety of restaurants and gas stations.

WiFi was spotty and not dependable. Had to wait till I got home to deal with some very important matters.

Location was handy, breakfast was very good. Staff was efficient and friendly. Room was clean, beds were comfortable.

Unfortunately around 11 P.M. the room got quite noisy because of other guests. Only lasted for half an hour so not a big deal, but did point out that the rooms aren't noise proof.

The room was comfortable. The bar provided an excellent meal. The front desk clerk was very friendly and provided knowledgeable information when asked.

The room was very nice, however there was a loud hum which may have been the air conditioner in the next room, and we were woken up early by individuals owning work trucks having a conversation outside our room.

Very clean and seems recently renovated, the Coast hotel was a great option for both cost and location if travelling through on the Trans Canada. The hotel is literally on the service road of the highway, so very quick access. There is a casino next door if that is your thing, and restaurants and stores very near. Breakfast is ordered the night before and is a grab and go in the morning - the staff were awesome and had ours ready for a very early 5am departure so kudos to them

Clean rooms, friendly staff.

Would have been nice if there was a table we could all sit at being that breakfast was in a bag - they were giving away bottled water which was very much appreciated as it was very dry in the hotel - then we were told that there 'was a limit' on the bottled water - we each probably had 2-3 per day - felt a little weird. Otherwise the staff were very friendly. No daily room cleaning at all due to covid - we tidied ourselves - not a big deal.

Staff were very friendly . The rooms were nice and beds comfortable . Nice wide hallways

A little more detail cleaning in bathrooms . Corners , baseboards doors should be wiped down bit better. Toilet seats where they attach could be better cleaned as well .
