It was absolutely a pleasant stay! The room was quite spacious, the bed was very comfortable, you have slippers, tea, razor, toothbrush, good hair dryer, etc, the breakfast wasn't exceptional, but it was simple, nice and quite unusual for foreigners. Wi-fi didn't work for me, but maybe it's because I have a Google pixel, I don't know. My wife has an iPhone and there weren't any problems for her. The hotel itself is in the middle of a beautiful ancient street, the interiors are super impressive, you have the feeling like you live in an ancient Chinese mansion, which is really great! But what is really distinctive about this hotel is its kind-hearted and responsive staff. They were always ready to help even though they don't speak English. They met us at night and helped us raise our baggage to the second floor, next day they let us check-out two hours later because we got wet in the rain, they also called a cheap taxi to an airport, gave us umbrellas and helped to carry out baggage to the taxi (the hotel is on pedestrian street, so you have to walk a bit). To cut a long story short, this was the most responsive staff in our trip and we'll keep the memories of them in our hearts!

The hotel is wonderful and super pretty, the ancient architecture is well preserved. The room was huge (living room + bedroom + balcony) The neighbourhood is very nice, the tea salon of the temple are amazing. The place is nicely busy during the day but very quiet/empty during the night

The staff was very nice however nobody spoke English which is a bit heavy sometimes (organise arrival, order taxi, making sure deposit will be refund etc …) Breakfast was very simple, a bit light

It was located in the centre of the Wenshu Yuan monastery complex which has all the traditional Chinese buildings. Just simply walking around the area (especially at night) was a treat. We felt like being in the old China, one would see in movies. Room was big, with all required facilities and a lovely balcony. Staff very friendly but with limited English. Breakfast ok to get you started for the day.

The hotel is in a beautiful old building right next to Wenshu Monastery. It is close to the city centre, and you can easily walk to a lot of places such as Tianfu Square and the People's Park. It is also close to a metro station. The room was also beautiful, although a little cold. Unfortunately, the WiFi wasn't great, and I struggled to get a connection. Breakfast was really good.

The lack of WiFi

We stayed for 1 night and enjoyed it immensely. The hotel premises are incredibly beautiful, feels like you are in a movie. Area around the hotel is also very pleasing - steps aways from Wenshu Yuan Monastery with a lot of dining options. Service was also great: everything is clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful, though English may be a problem.

Breakfast options can be a bit more varied.

The location is great and very convenient, in a quiet part of the city center. The room was clean and the bed comfy. The atmosphere in the hotel was nice, also due to the beautiful traditional architecture. Metro station was in walking distance. Many restaurants and bars nearby.

The hotel has an amazing location, in the old center, surrounded by restaurants and bars. Very clean rooms and bathroom. Many amenities for a 3 star hotel, such as toothbrush, Toothpaste, vanity kit,comb, tea,coffee, etc... The hotel's interior is amazing. Stuff friendly. Didn't have time to try the breakfast but they prepared a breakfast box for me.

Breakfast was great. The room was very comfortable with good aircon and a balcony over the alley way. Location was superb, right in the middle of the old quarter near the Wushan Monastery with little shops and tea houses everywhere.

I loved it all.

The hotel is stunning, built in a traditional style, and in an area which is similar to an ancient town. It's exceptionally clean, no dust at all considering everything is made from dark wood. The staff spoke conversational English and were very helpful, especially one young man at reception, he provided me with a map, and recommended some places for me to visit. The hotel doesn't offer any meals but there are many restaurants nearby, including a lovely vegetarian hotpot, a teashop and a bar right opposite, which plays music till 1am. I could hear it faintly from my room, but it wasn't an issue for me. Unfortunately the spa was not operational during my visit, which was a shame. The location is very good, it's a 10 minute walk to the subway, and there are many shops along the way, Chunxi Rd was 3 stops away.

The room was a little cold for me, however I left the AC on warm so it was nice and toasty within 30 minutes. The spa was not working, not sure why. Slight noise from the bar opposite, but nothing major.

The place is so beautiful. It’s a museum in the middle of the city and in the middle of our times. The best place you can stay if you want to have very interesting experience. Everything else was just impeccable.
