We stayed three nights in this beautiful place and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was right at the heart of the old town, close to the Wenshu monastery and the attractions nearby. You can't beat the location. You also can't beat the quality of the room and facilities. The beds were so comfy that the bathroom was first class with an amazing shower and a modern toilet. Everything was spotlessly clean. The hotel is managed so well, and things run smoothly there. We were allowed to use the washing machine, which was most welcome. Most of the staff spoke excellent English and were so helpful with all the local information and advice. We learned about the didi cab hailing app from the reception staff, and that really helped us during our 3 week trip in China. We are really grateful to the staff for everything. The hotel restaurant was great and the breakfast spread was absolutely amazing.

We loved everything. We will book there again and even wish we could transport this lovely place to other places we travelled.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and can't recommend it enough! First off, the location was fantastic. It was conveniently situated close to several main attractions, making it easy to explore the area without much hassle. The staff were another highlight of our stay. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating. A special shout-out to 小芳 and 姚子—thank you both for going the extra mile to make our stay so lovely! Our bedroom was spotless and well-maintained, with daily housekeeping that kept everything in top shape. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. Breakfast was a treat, with a nice buffet spread offering a variety of options to start the day off right. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. It was a wonderful experience!

The happy mood of the staff was contagious. They were most friendly, courteous and helpful especially Sophie who spent a lot of time helping us with our bookings as well as the lovely ladies at the reception counter. There was a good selection of food items for breakfast and the staff even remembered our coffee preferences.

Food items at breakfast tended to be cold even at different hours in the morning. There was very little room to hang and unpack clothes for guests who were staying for a few days. The electronic toilet seat cover sensor and lighting tended to have a mind of its own and could be annoying sometimes.

Location is the best part of the hotel: it's in such a bustling district, yet itself is in a quite corner. A few steps away, you can explore countless stores, restaurants, bakeries, and tea houses. There's also a Monastery nearby that's free to all. A lot stores are dedicated to unique local crafts - obviously, they are catering to travellers outside of Sichuan, especially international travellers, but they do have very unique offerings. Local embroidery (Shu Jing), lacquerware, bamboo ware, etc. My room was clean and had 2 large windows, with a claw-footed bath tub. Trees out of the window made very attractive views. Staffers in Xishu are friendly, knowledgeable, and they accommodated my request as best as they could.

Temperature control of the room can be improved.

Amazing staff that were super friendly and helpful. In a nice location, not far from the subway and with a very chilled atmosphere around the neighbourhood. (Important to note that the subway exit closest to the hotel does not have an escalator if you have heavy suitcases so you’ll need to walk a bit further if you don’t want to carry suitcases up the stairs)

Some small inconveniences like the light and extractor fan in the bathroom is on a motion sensor so if you use the bathroom at night, they will automatically turn on and there’s no way around this but overall a really lovely stay.

Convinient location, quiet area, super clean, safe surroundings, simple included breakfast with good enough selection, offering latte or capoucino coffee at breakfast was a great gesture. Most importantly for me is the people who worked there, almost everyone I mean including cleaning ladies, they were all switch on, friendly, helpful in every way during my stay, most of them speaks English too, just incredible. I specially like to mention Sophie, Lucy and FeFe thank you all so very much for your amazing kindness, your help and understanding, you went all out to make sure my mama was comfortable, that our needs are met. Very kind of Sophie to arrange for our 1st night at the 4 beds female dorm for just the 3 of us due to Family room was sold out, I'm very grateful Sophie. Hope to see you soon, thank you once again.

What can I say in one word? Exceptional! This hotel is truly one of the best place I've ever been for quality-price. The facility is brand new, the room is extremely clean, spacious and it has everything you can think of. Plus, it's very hi-tech (I loved the bathroom). The bed is super comfortable and big, as well as the pillows. The area is alive during the day (full of restaurants and stores) and quiet at night, so perfect if you wanna sleep well and rest properly. The breakfast was tasty and with traditional food as well, plus it changes almost everyday. The staff is just great, always ready to help you and give you tips about the city and any kind of support you might need (all of them speak English). Moreover, they're very kind and smiley, which is always highly appreciated! I will definitely come back to Xishu Garden Inn for my next stay in Chengdu: don't hesitate to book it!

The staff were so professional, friendly, caring and thoughtful. As I mentioned that my sister was pregnant, they booked us nearer to the lift and planned our travel itinerary so we do not need to do so much walking. They were always helpful when we made any requests or enquiries, and assisted us with purchasing tickets as we are not familiar with the methods of purchase. When booking for drivers from the hotel, the pricing rates were very good and the service was door to door, with English information printed out for us when we depart, along with drinks that we didn't fully expected. The room is cleaned daily and fresh amenities are replaced. Although they are a smaller hotel, but the level of service is definitely better, if not on par, with many of the best hotels I have been!

Room was large and spacious and the round bathtub was lovely after a busy day in the city. The bed was large and comfortable. The room had high tech lighting and curtains were also controlled by a button. There was a huge projector screen in the room too and the toiletries provided were high quality. The staff here were the most helpful and friendly of our whole 2 week stay in China and they all spoke a great level of English. They helped us book tickets to the Panda centre and sort airport taxis. The breakfast buffet was great - a lovely choice of food and they made you fresh coffee. On the day we left, they made us up a breakfast box as we left before breakfast time. There was a luggage room available - although we didn't need to use this. The area of the hotel was great - in a more historical part of the city and close to many restaurants, cute shops and the monastery. Would recommend this hotel to all.

Very friendly and helpful staff that answered every question, helped to book tickets, plan things and helped with navigating around the city. Everyone spoke very good English as well. The hotel has a very good location, close to the subway and area with a lot of local restaurants. Rooms are spacious, very clean and super modern. Hotel has a very cute yard inside where you can enjoy really good breakfast or just rest after walking around the city. One of the best experiences I ever had staying at the hotel. Definitely recommend for anyone visiting Chengdu.
