A very attentive staff, especially the lady manager who went above and beyond to ensure your needs are met. Our room was very clean with a large, comfortable bed, controllable heat/air conditioner, and daily housekeeping. Shower is powerful and hot, and the toilet had a warm bidet. The breakfast buffet has good selection both Western and Chinese, cereal and fruit, porridge and rice, and with any order type of eggs on demand. They tried to vary the menu on a daily and weekly basis. There is a beautiful park along the canal next door, which we had a spectacular view of from our 20th floor windows, and with the twin needle towers (188) and the "trouser pants" towers of Suzhou Centre in the background. The elevators are extremely efficient. 24 hour attendants at the desk.

Our shower/toilet in a separate room was cold with a continuous draft from outside. The shower leaked water out the bathtub despite the curtains.

The location is very convenient: nice district, 10 minutes of walk from metro station and mall with foodcort, grocery nearby. The apartments were very clean, and cleaning was daily. The facilities were good: hairdryer, ironing board and iron, kettle, tableware, and cutlery. Also, we liked that there was a separate bathroom and toilet. We liked that the apartments were very spacious. And it was nice to have free bottles of water and tea bags in the apartments when you come back from long touristic day.

It would be nice to have a place for drying clothes.

We spent here one week. Good breakfast with some chinese and some west food and fruts and with cofee made from machine coffee. Quiet hotel in night. Beds very comfortable. Clean room and cleaned up each day. Reception room staff knows English (!!) and was helpfull even to print some pages, and to order a taxi for us in Chineese.

Dated. Clean but bathrooms are in desperate need of update. Hard to find it you don't already know where it is. Compound guards are useless.

Great location and friendly staff, room was well equipped and had everything I needed for a two week stay in Suzhou. Free coffee in reception all day is a bonus, and the coffee is good.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff speaks English and there is complimentary breakfast (both Western and Chinese) and a breathtaking view over the city. The room was spacious and had a kitchen, a bathtub, a mini refrigerator, very comfortable.

Two things: 1. living there you need to consider the fact it is not close to city center or subway, so it's either taxi or bus. 2. Specifically for winter: we stayed at the top floor and perhaps there was no one living there for several days, but when we returned to the room after a day exploring the city, the room was FROZEN. It took us an hour at least sitting in our coats and sweaters to heat it up enough for us to change clothes. This is something the hotel should consider, as the A/C is pretty bad at heating up.

Comfortable bed, very nice staff, clean, washing facilities are kept up to date and clean.

The price is a bit high for the age of the building, but that's true everywhere in Suzhou that allows foreigners.

Super friendly, helpful and English speaking staff. Restaurants, bars and the lake nearby. Spacious and clean apartment with a great view.

No own parking spaces. However, there is an underground parking garage on the opposite side of the road (about 50 RMB for one night).

Everybody are very noce and friendly.

The Air condition in the bedmoom sometimes switched off automatically.

Location was v good and quite. Breakfast could have more selections. The room cleaners were excellent and very kind.

A cleaner was cleaning the chairs outside the hotel, beside the road where we can sit and smoke. She pick-up bottles and c butts and just throwing it towards the road - not a good thing to do. This action by the staff shows that Management needs to train the staff and be more observant.
