- Beautiful, comfortable, clean room with window (just as pictured). - Regular cleaning and supply with bottled water and fresh towels. - Beds were very comfortable and room temperature kept just right. - Charging ports (USB) conveniently located next to the bed. - Easy access to public transport.

- We were were two people staying in the room but were only supplied with one room key. - Communication with the staff via messages was a bit difficult due to language barrier, but communication on site was no issue.

Room was clean and nice, technics and all sanitaries was in working condition.

Conditioner, that heated the room was a bit strange. Every night it was cold for me, being under the blanket, and every morning that was too warm. I used it on 20 degrees, but every morning there was about 24 in my room. Breakfast was not bad, but had some troubles. Every hot dishes usually cold. Scrambled egg cold and not cooked, very liquid. I asked to make in cooked and hotter, and women answered me that it is hot. Don’t know why, cause it wasn’t, like every other morning. And there cockroaches. One of them even crawled into my friend’s coffee…

All very good. Super position, clean room, has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very polite and nice reception. Got an early check in for free , which was really very comfortable with 2 big luggage.

Shower flow was a little too weak and the max water temperature was regulated by hotel in a way that you can not really make it hot. It was not cold neither a little warm. It was ok to shower ,but i love very hot water especially when it s really cold and humid outside. Reception people could work a little harder on their english level :) for the future foreign tourists coming in, just a suggestion.

My recent stay in Shanghai was a delight. The hotel's prime location near the metro and amidst a lively street with shopping, bars, and diverse restaurants made it the perfect spot. Although breakfast was simple, it was comfortable, and the staff's willingness to assist with any requests added to the positive experience. If you're seeking a centrally located haven in Shanghai, this hotel is an excellent choice.

Great location (near to subway lines and walking distance from both), comfortable bed and stylish, well appointed split-level bedroom. Great breakfast and helpful staff, who I could communicate with via translation apps to help book tickets up Shanghai tower. Walking distance from nice areas in the French concession.

Staff didn’t speak English considering what a metropolitan city Shanghai is. Though I am aware English isn’t spoken widely in China.

Location was excellent. Many shops and lots of restaurants to choose from around the hotel. Subway access is just less than 1 block away. Friendly and accommodating staff.

If you do not have any VPN you cannot access the wifi. Access to lobby reception is difficult, and access to other rooms too. Since there is no hotel phone available. In our case we have to approach the lobby to ask for anything (note that the lobby is not directly accessible when you exit the rooms, they have a separate entrance). But staff are very friendly and accommodating which kind of makes up for this inconvenience. Selection of breads and jams are delicious but the rest of the food was just ok. We smelled cigarette smoke coming from the bathroom (maybe the exhaust) so our towels had a cigarette odor to them.

Excellent location, very central and 5 minutes walk to different metro lines. Right next to shopping and eateries, inside the Former French Concession area. Hotel is one block away from the old Cathay Theatre (under renovation apparently). Room was spotless, very comfortable mattress, and relatively silent. Breakfast was awesome (albeit extra charge), a well stocked buffet of both Western and Eastern options, fresh fruit and pastries. Staff is very attentive and receptionists speak English.

- Aircon would not revert back to cold no matter what, so the room would get uncomfortably hot (either a glitch or misuse on our part) if we turned it on. - Window faced a courtyard right next to some chimneys and aircon vents, the noise may be slightly annoying if you're the sensitive type. - Although great quality, breakfast is an added charge.

The staff were friendly. We arrived earlier than the standard check in time with heaps of luggages, however the staff managed to let us check in and settle as soon as they could, which was fairly pleasant. They also provided us with suggestions of foods to eat which was super iconic of Shanghai and delicious! The property was located in one of the busiest region of Shanghai yet in a tranquil area. Everything was handy and Metro stations are around the corner.

The location is excellent where it is smacking in the centre of Huai Hai Middle Road and yet the hotel is tucked in a quiet environment where you do not hear the traffics or any noise. There are tons of shopping sand eateries around and you can easily walk to the famous touristy places and there are 3 different lines of tubes very nearby as well. The staffs are friendly and helpful as well.

Wonderful hotel in the center of the city, near the metro station. Location is great. The hotel has its own yard with a few tables where you can hang out. Breakfasts were tasty with European and Chinese cuisine. Room wasn't big but very clean and bright. Conditioner worked well, Wi-Fi either. Room has small refrigerator which is very useful in summer. Stuff was friendly, knew English a little so we could understand everything.
