The hotel's location is fantastic, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, making my stay quite enjoyable. I must say there is very little to complain about regarding the service and staff.

I'd like to point out a minor issue regarding the lighting in the room. Specifically, the area around the sofa was somewhat dim in the afternoon and evening, lacking proper illumination. Additionally, the placement of the coffee machine required me to walk to the bathroom to wash my cups, which I observed is provided differently in other hotels.

I loved everything about this hotel. It was in an excellent location, across Xintiandi where there was no shortage of restaurant options. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, there was an array of amenities, the shower was amazing. The heated toilet seat has forever changed me. As this was a work trip, i was grateful for the many charging points, and the stationery that was available in-room. Breakfast was excellent, there was a very good and healthy variety.

There are not enough dining facilities with private room options. I'd imagine there would be potential as there were many working guests during the week. The lobby area had good seating options but one or two private rooms with dining options (not business center) would be amazing.

Exceptional location, making it easy to access key attractions. The room was impeccably clean, contributing to a comfortable and pleasant experience.

We booked another room for my mum and dad on 29th to 30th. Unfortunately check-in experience was disappointing as the room was not ready by the designated time, and the staff did not express any apologies for the inconvenience. This lack of acknowledgment affected my overall perception of the service.

Everything was perfect. Nice area, not far from the main tourist attractions. Delicious food. Very polite and helpful staff, especially Zoe P., she made our stay at the hotel truly memorable, thank you!

There was a lots of small moths inside the room, maybe because of wall panelling that was made of cloth material.

The location is closed to shopping area so it's good if you're into shopping. We had a spacious room and the mattress is really good. I spent 2 weeks in China across 4 different cities and I had my best sleep in the Lanham Shanghai. The breakfast is also very yummy. Staff at the reception can speak good English, however, not the staff in the restaurant. Some chefs can speak English.

I think the hotel needs to do deep clean with the toilet in the room. I notice it's a bit dirty especially in the shower.

Excellent hospitality from my entry till my departure to train station. Very professional & efficient check in which is quite stand out even compare to other hotels i went locally , HK & overseas. Well decorated & equipped guest room. Spacious & all provisions in good condition, only setback is wardrobe space not sufficient enough for 2 pp & the faucet /shower arrangement not user friendly for elderly guests. Other than that, all is top notch to me. Furthermore, unaware afternoon tea is offered upon our arrival which is good that we could have a quick & elegant tea then just out for sightseeing relaxingly. 1 things must be mentioned that the concierge guy( sorry that didn’t asked his name) serving us from entry to the hotel till called cab for us on departure which is very helpful, sincere & professional , excellent representative for this Langham in Shanghai !

Location is ok but it as close to Metro as excepted

Staff were very helpful and considerate. I was quite unwell during our stay so I very much appreciated our housekeeper, Lynn, keeping us supplied with drinking water, tea etc. and clean linen when we needed it. Also my mother passed away during the visit and I was so thankful reception allowed us to have a late checkout while waiting to take the sad journey home. Thank you sincerely Langham!

This hotel is luxury at its best. Everything about it is top class. Just the smell when you walk into the reception relaxed you immediately. Rooms are well appointed with everything you need and the breakfast is superb. The staff could not be more lovely and the location is perfect , especially for westerners This is the type of place you would want to live if you could. Cannot recommend enough. Please stay here. You won’t be disappointed.

The hotel is at an excellent location. Room was well organized when we arrived. The entire property was quite clean. Breakfast was up to our expectation. Staff were very friendly. We also used the swimming pool and the gym, the facility was clean and overall it was a great stay. Front desk staff was very helpful when I was trying to buy train tickets but without being authenticated through the app.

I think we have a nice stay, no complaints

Our stay was perfect! We stayed for 8 days, the most complicated in China for travelling because of the Chinese New Year. The hotel was full. The incredible staff of the Langham provided everything for our comfort, even when it was clear that all of them were overworked. Thank you a lot for your efforts!!!
