Over the years I've stayed in many hotels and summer houses in Santafe de Antioquia, but Hotel Mariscal Robledo is the BEST! The building-museum is simply stunning, the location is great, the rooms are very comfortable, the service is 5 stars, and the staff is lovely! It was my partner's first time in Colombia. We went to Cartagena a few days before we stayed at Mariscal, and he said that if he had to pick between the two options, he wouldn't think twice when selecting Mariscal Robledo. We had the most relaxing and chilling time by the pool after enjoying the diverse and delicious breakfast, which highlights were the calentao (mix of rice with beans, and different topping as crunchy pork), Eggs your way, and freshly cut to order fruit (brilliant idea to serve truly fresh fruit while avoiding wastage). I can't wait to be back, next time for at least a week. These guys rock!

Spend a warm weekend next to the pool just hanging out and relaxing away from the city. In that, this hotel is excellent. The vibe of this hotel is country club type exclusivity. Depending on what you are looking for, this could be exactly it, or you might find it pretentious.

I ended up here because Casa Bixa, a few blocks away, was fully booked. For the same price, Casa Bixa exceeds this in every category, especially in service. While overall positive, this review is flavored by knowing the competition.

I just got back to Medellin from a 3-day stay in Sant Fe de Antioquia and the Hotel Mariscal Robledo. I was extremely pleased and had a great time in the town, but the hotel was really the highlight for me. As one of the oldest (and it's massive!) buildings in the area, they pay tribute to the history of Santa Fe and Colombia with countless antiques, momentos, and relics of yesteryear throughout. It was so fun just walking around exploring the books and crannies and seeing old photographs, vintage typewriters and movie cameras, indigenous art, and much more. My favorite was the library, which was crammed floor to ceiling with books and works of art, as well as a fun "secret" library room that was one of the coolest I've ever seen. In terms of creature comforts, my room was big and had a lot of character - and an amazing view of the rooftops, church spire and mountains behind it. The swimming pool is grand and I loved to see there's plenty of comfortable seating and cabanas around it, as well as a restaurant serving all meals, plus a full bar. There are even separate businesses within the hotel's sprawling complex, like the amazing little Canela Cafe, a pizza place, an ice cream shop, and more. But the highlight was the people working there and staying there, as everyone was super cool, inviting, and helpful. I definitely made some new friends and feel like I got the real warmth of the Colombian people! The hotel was so unique and authentic that when I first arrived, I immediately messaged down to the front desk that I'd like to add an extra day and night! I'll definitely be back - 5 stars and then some!

The restaurant's food wasn't quite up to snuff and not the highlight, although the staff there were wonderful.

Breakfast was excellent and a lovely choice. All the food was fresh and served with kindness and patience . Everything was very clean and lots of games to play and lovely music by the pool .

Shower heads and hot water in rooms . Though service really did their best and try to make it very good . Service from staff everywhere was excellent and kind xx

the property is filled with antiques and historical decor and has a beautiful Spanish architecture that blends in with the town. the hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable, the a/c worked properly, the staff was very polite and attentive, the pool was clean and inviting. so many positive things about this hotel if you like the old architecture, history, and comfort.

Everything about this property was first class. The staff was professional and friendly. The room was immaculate, the bed and bedding was dreamy. The property was a museum of photos and artifacts from Colombia and Santa Fe and you felt a real connection with the country. The flora and plants were beautiful and well cared for with hummingbirds humming about. And best of all the pool and pool area was outstanding. The soothing instrumental versions of pop hits playing in the background was very relaxing. The water was immaculate without being overly chlorinated. This was our first trip to Santa Fe but if we ever return there is no question we would stay here again. Great value as well.

The hotel seems to be a manifestation of magical realism. The many social rooms are filled with artifacts and antiques. There is a timelessness to the place. The pool displays tropical beauty with views into the mountains. The room we had was simple but very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and offers something for everyone. We also went to the spa for a 30 minutes massage that was fantastic. The staff is attentive and super friendly

This very charming hotel has everything you need for a getaway from the hectic city like Medellín. Just 1,5 hour drive and you are in paradise. Thank god they kept the hotel in it's old glory. So many beautiful nice touches and details like props from the movie industry, a collection of old camera's or sewing machines or the wall of Fame of famous actors of Colombia. Really fantastic. Great service, great bedrooms, great pool.

Beautiful old building with a cool library, good air conditioning, a comfortable room, and a very nice staff. Nice view over rooftops to the cathedral from our room.

Everything was good! Town was too hot for us, but that’s not the hotel’s fault 😛
