Great food ... Lovely pool..

A cab ride away from literally anything else at all and shop on site with not much available and very heavily priced when it was. $5 for a very small bottle of water is an insult when you can buy 6 litres in the shop which is a 10-minute cab ride away for the same price.Good Uber service thankfully. They tend to play ridiculously loud music around the pool which makes it not relaxing at all even though that's not all the time and the beach although it is a walk away is quite muddy kind of a situation and not something people sit on.

Honestly the hotel and staff exceeded all our expectations. The place is so wonderful, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool is huge and beautiful! There are iguanas and parrots right on the property for you to observe. 4 restaurants, the food was excellent and plenty options for you to choose from. The beach is right outside, you can do water sports right there without leaving the hotel. Also tennis court, golf driving range, kayaks, paddle boards all included in your stay. It made us not want to leave the hotel at all. Also, they upgraded our room as it was my husband’s birthday. All in all, I just want to be back there again :)

Nothing, it’s like you are in a Disney movie

Our stay was during the low season which was perfect. There weren’t too many people so we were able to enjoy the amenities without waiting or being burdened by people. We enjoyed the pool and swim up bar. There was no wait at the restaurants the entire time we were there.

Some of the staff was curt. Experience at sushi bar was subpar. There was an exclusive party happening and guests who were not part of that party were neglected.

Breakfast was good - I recommend the omelets which they make for you upon request. Other items are buffet style. The property is beautiful and you cannot beat the location. The staff were all wonderful. The room was always well-cleaned.

The rooms could use some up-dating along with other things on the property. For example, the pool had a lot of tiles missing. The lighting in the room was not good (too dark, unless curtains were open.) But, overall we were pleased with the room. The food at all of the restaurants on the property gets a poor rating - we never had a good meal on the property for lunch or dinner. For such an expensive resort, they really need to improve their food. For example - the chicken in our Caesar Salads was rubbery (but cooked), so bad that we didn't eat it. The food is very expensive too, so it should be well worth the $$, but it doesn't meet the standard.

We loved everything. The staff was amazing. We liked the way the pool was laid out and gave everyone a semi private area. The rooms and property were unique and clean. We also loved having the coffee bar open 24 hours.

The only thing we will bring next time is a fan for our room. We couldn’t get the room cool enough.

Excellent spread of breakfast items to choose from. Chef Juan Carlos was very nice and helpful and his cooking very good. The entire breakfast staff were attentive and friendly.

Well maintained. Spotlessly clean. Great staff. Surrounding scenery. Wildlife. Restaurant options. Good gym. Large, clean pool. Quiet, spacious room.

Free use of resort facilities e.g bikes and tennis courts is limited to 30 minutes. Good course fees are excessively high if renting equipment. No ATM on site.

Service, room and food

Noise at the pool, there was construction going on the whole weekend, which was a real bother. I thought it was really a miss that they allowed that kind of noise in the weekends in the middle of high season. Also, I could hear everything about the room above me, which again I found baffled.

We rented a room with forest view and the room they gave us has no view at all all we can see was a roof I asked to be changed to a forest view room and they were charging me $70 extra per night after ai complained the gave us a room with a better view with no charge

The staff was very accommodating in the room was very clean and nice. Everything you could have needed was in there. Extra pillows, blow dryer, coffee snacks.

It is very expensive place to be. The restaurants are very expensive although the food is really good. The pool has several areas that need repair
