We liked the vastness of the property. It clearly is one of the largest hotels in Manuel Antonio. We felt secluded in the adult area of the property but also at any moment were able to access any area easily via free shuttle within the property or just plain walking.

The uphill climb. Just don’t do it. Also, the lighting is dimmer because of their use of bottles as shades. This does reduce light considerably. Ladies make note for any makeup routine.

The views were incredible, all rooms were very spacious and had everything we needed, big balcony, loved being in the adults only area, all the planes scattered around the property were so cool, excellent cocktails, all of the restaurants on property were excellent, the staff was very friendly and helped book our tour of the Manuel Antonio National Park with a great guide and shuttle service, the property shuttle service to the restaurants on property was very nice and last but not least my favorite, the MONKEYS EVERYWHERE! The squirrel monkeys playing in the jungle canopy every evening at sunset was my favorite thing!

A little expensive but it was our honeymoon and big splurge of the trip. Still worth it and we would stay there again! Didn't love Playa Espadilla. Would much rather have stayed at the park's beaches longer.

Nice bigger hotel on a large plot about 2km far from the Manuel Antonio NP entry and about 4km far from Quepos town. There are 3 pools within the hotel complex and several (but not cheap) restaurants in a walking distance.

Nearly nothing, we had no complains, no problems, it was a very easy 2 nights stay within Manuel Antonio area. A bit more expensive stay (stay, food, activities). There was a bit basic room furniture & equipment in our room, and our room was really small for us (4 persons in 1 queen and 1 king beds) - but for 2 night stay it is fine.

We stayed at the Sky Loft with my family of 3 kids. We loved the unique experience of sleeping on an aircraft. The views were breathtaking. The loft has 2 balconies, one huge one where you can enjoy meals while the monkeys play and another one with a breathtaking view for morning coffees. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. The restaurants on site (or short walking distance) served delicious food. Amazing stay to visit Manuel Anotonio park from.

The ocean view room was exceptional view. Looked over the bay in front of Manuel Antonio. Pool deck view is exceptional regardless of room location. Sunset should not be missed from this location. The bartenders made the pool experience nice. The location is close enough to the beach to walk, tho it is steep. Breakfast was pretty good and not overly priced. Laundry service was not over priced either. Wildlife at the hotel is fantastic. Birds, monkeys, sloths all around.

Pool needs towel service. It’s pretty annoying to carry towel from room to pool and back. Price of hotel is high, really USA prices, but it was high season. Drinks are moderately high but good. Breakfast service after it is delivered is non existent. Staff never returns for coffee or water refills. This is one problem with the mandatory tip instead of optional tip. You have to get up or flag them down for any service once meal is delivered.

The property is a work of art. A lot of thought had been put into every detail of the rooms, the buildings, pools, and restaurants. The food is high quality and generous portions (Texas size). The staff is helpful and attentive. The rooms are spacious with fabulous views of nature and the beach. The property is crawling with wild animals. Every corner is an opportunity for a wild encounter. This property should be in everyone’s bucket list of places to stay within one’s lifetime.

The bathrooms have open screens. The small mosquitos were still able to penetrate the openings in the screens in the bathroom. The kitchen pots and pans were of very low quality aluminum, which had been linked to health concerns.

Some of greatest views in the world. Huge and comfortable rooms. Great pool. Friendly staff. Saw 4 breeds of monkey, a possum and endless beautiful birds on the property. Enjoyed local bus to and from the national park. Also.enjoyed the morning catamaran tour we took - but note that it is a party boat, for kids and families, with loud music and frankly little prospect of whale/dolphin sighting when we went - during the rainy season which also makes snorkeling unrewarding as water is not clear.

It's probably a bit over-priced. Due to the monkeys, there is no buffet breakfast. Need extra coffee filters in room.

Truly awesome location with lovely pool(s), stunning views and visiting wildlife - depending on which room you get. It's all rustic style scattered around up on a hill, gorgeously surrounded by nature. We saw monkeys, gouties, toucans, parrots, macaws, and more, all from the pool and balcony. It's not in a town but there are options for bars and restaurants within a really easy walk and there are regular buses (or 10min walk) down to the beach. Staff are helpful with info, booking tours etc. Rooms are very comfy with balconies to relax on. Really Lovely!!

The rooms vary, even within the same category. If you get lucky it's awesome (none of it is bad, by the way!) For example, we moved room twice to not be by the car park, and not in a dark corner, and ended with a gorgeous view of forest and sea. Decor is hit and miss too - it really wants to be stylish (it's not cheap!) but sometimes just seems cluttered.

The view from our room was amazing, overlooking the water. Having a tub on our balcony was a nice surprise. The size of our room was quite large. Plenty of monkeys to view from the balcony with our morning coffee.

I wouldn’t say we didn’t like this feature but you need to be certain you can walk up & down the street of the property and down to the beach. It’s a good hike and if you’re not comfortable with a somewhat strenuous walk please consider driving down to the beach.
