Everything went well. The room was small and not fancy-smancy but nicely done with great walk in shower and large bathroom and CLEAN. The entire site is spotless. This is not a new resort so the sparkling pool wasn't flawless but well maintained . The food is excellent. I didn't have breakfast but the rest of the food was great. They have a nice bar and seating area. The units are very private I had a large patio with comfortable seating. Its a small, intimate hotel which is my favorite kind and definitely a bargain!

Location was conveniently close to beach (less than 5 min walk) but far away enough from nightlife to feel quiet in evenings (we were there as family). Also well located near some fab restaurants. Room/apartment was fantastic: large, clean, well equipped and private. Pool was mostly in shade, and great to cool off in after day in sea, helped with Happy hour in nice bar! Best breakfast we had in Costa Rica. Cooked fresh, and everything we tried off menu was fantastic. Also saw monkeys within pool area.

Hotel did everything we needed.

The rooms had a lot of privacy, as they were individually spread out across the hotel's grounds and were each surrounded by beautiful nature. The location was great with a supermarket and a bank directly across the street and a bus stop down the corner. The bed was very comfortable and the room had all the necessities. A key highlight of the stay was the amazing and tasty breakfast! It really kept us full for most of the day.

Wifi could have been better, but understandable as Tamarindo seemed to have weaker wifi. And the shower head could have been better. If you're sensitive to noise, you may hear the bass from clubs/bars in the area at night, but nothing crazy.

It was like living in a forest with all the trees, shrubs, etc. around. The pool was pleasant. Breakfast DELICIOUS! Staff very accommodating. Comfortable. Lovely. All the natural wood used to make furniture, etc. Entertained by the mangoes dropping off the huge tree to the wooden walks. Never saw the monkeys, but did see an iguana, a couple of raccoons scurrying across our roof, and the resident cats.

Despite relatively central location, it was quiet at night to sleep. The AC worked well, the room was clean. The breakfast was disappointing, there's certainly room for improvement, however i must say we did appreciate the big coffee thermoses for self-serving, which is way more comfortable than asking for another cup of coffee each time.

The grounds are gorgeous and make you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but you are in the centre of all the Tamarindo action. The location was absolutely perfect. The pool was serene and restaurant was affordable. The nachos were awesome! We came on our honeymoon and they set the room up for us with all sorts of decor, making us feel extra special.

The room itself was a bit rough around the edges, it did not match the feel of the rest of the place.

The hotel is well located near restaurants and shops. It is about a seven minute walk to the beach. The pool was cold, but refreshing and a good place to relax. Breakfast was delicious and the staff very nice happy hour was great. A young man named ChuChu should be promoted. He worked so hard all day doing multiple tasks and always had a smile on his face.

The rooms are getting a little tired.

Breakfast was excellent and hearty with fresh fruit always served on the side The staff was extremely helpful and friendly Our room was a building by itself and therefore as quiet as it could get for being so close to the street

Through no fault of the Hotel, the power went out multiple times during our stay. The problem was quickly resolved.

Place is next to bars and restaurants, walking distance from the beach.

Not a lot of privacy from the toilet (shower and toilets are separated but you don't get a lot or privacy). There was no shower head in my bathroom They split the hotel booking in 5 payments, which means for all international transactions you have to pay fees (I had to pay £25 from fees because of the number of charges they did rather than doing it in one transaction, they don't reimburse the money or give a coffee or something in return)

The rooms are huge, comfortable and clean. The pool area is fantastic. Also, the breakfast is really really good, tasty food with a lot of choices. The staff is super nice and professional and the location is perfect , just some minutes from the beach by walk. We really enjoyed our time here and we recommend to anyone who is visiting Tamarindo.
