We did not like the hotel accepted a lot of Russian tourists. Russian visitors mostly were rude and disturbing. They were clipping their nails over balconies and nail pieces were dropping below balconies. We complained and talked to them but they do not even care. They were blocking all the good sun beds, the wooden ones at the beach. Hopefully next time we will choose a place where Russian people can not go. Extremely rude and loud people unfortunately. And some of them were very rude to hotel workers as well.

The hotel is beautifully designed. Minimalistic, yet not sterile. The location is beautiful, great views and lovely walks nearby. Breakfast is great. The spa is gorgeous. This was our third time at Lone, there is a reason we keep coming back.

On our third visit we notice a decline in the quality of the staff. Some of the staff are less friendly and service-oriented than they used to be. One major problem we found was the fact that the breakfast staff was uninformed about food allergies. The food labels are often incorrect, e.g. a 'vegan' dish contained dairy upon inquiry and it turned out the cook didn't know what vegan meant. I am not vegan, but I do have a dairy allergy and this meant I couldn't trust the food labels nor the staff anymore.

Everything was exceptional, especially the staff.

Hotel is a decade old with a lot of a guests thru the years and needs a little bit of a extra care.

It goes without saying that the hotel, view, interior and surroundings were gorgeous. What really surprised me it that this hotel is really committed to reducing plastic waste. The three days we spent here were completely plastic-free. The very high-end bathroom cosmetic was in aluminium tubes. There were no plastic bags inside the bins. The water bottles (replaced daily) were glass etc. Honestly, I loved it!

The reading light beside the bed was too low for reading—design over function.

Excellent hotel, we enjoyed the ambiance and service. The spa is excellent, especially the pool, which is really long. The hotel has some small flaws, but in fact it does not affect the phenomenal impression it left on us. Considering that there is carpet in almost the entire hotel, the cleanliness is really at a high level. We want to give special praise to the lady who makes the omelettes at breakfast. A very kind, cheerful and helpful employee. The view of the forest and the location of the hotel could not be better.

Since the hotel is pet-friendly, there are traces and smells, especially in the elevators. The glass wall between the toilet and the bedroom makes it quite difficult to go to the toilet at night without waking your partner. The sheets on the mattress could be longer, so that they cover the entire mattress. The hotel lobby does not look like a five-star hotel. The tables in the restaurant also don't look very high quality. Everything else is actually at a high level.

Stylish but without being painfully so. Very comfortable beds, black out curtains, plush carpets, good aircon. Very friendly and polite staff. Excellent breakfast and never overbearing my busy. Oleander restaurant for lunch was perfect. We also rented bikes to go into Rovinj and around the woods/park. Only 20 mins walk to centre of town and many lovely restaurants.

Sunbeds - a bit chaotic trying to get four for family. Also seems that public can use the hotel grounds and beds. The sunbeds were poor quality, for a five star I would expect some padding. Many were damaged.

The location so close to the Rovinj centre, the walks alongside the beach and the two beach bars being really comfortable; The rooms, especially the design and the size; The room service and the quality of the bar menu food; The pool and spa area; The park area;

The hotel was generally crowded as fully booked, so the staff left the impression that we shall feel lucky that we have a chance to stay - the arrogance at the check-in wasn’t appropriate on such a level; The staff is’t really good in English, which makes communication sometimes difficult; In general the discomfort of staying in a fully booked hotel was to be felt anywhere outside the room, eg no towels at the pool area any time arriving, no table at the breakfast free or set up any time and long waiting time for the order at the Japanese restaurant;

The service is excellent, as well the hotel's staff; the breakfast is very rich with plenty choices of salt, sweet and healthy food; rooms are spacioous and beds very comfortable

The hotel has been built in y.2011 and the almost 13 years of operating are already strongly felt, thus the hotel needs a 'face lifting' in certain areas (such as pool area, sauna/spa area, carpet in the rooms and corridors, TV in the rooms, etc.) in order to maintain its design & 5 stars status.

Amazing room, great comfort and wellness facilities. The location next to Punta is 1st class.

Cleaning staff did not take away the room service trolley during make up service which was strange.

Bed linen were changed every 2nd day, which is a standard of 4*, but not 5* hotel. Breakfast is good in case your stay in a hotel lasts few days, but no changes in Menü for 9 days was boring. From 8:00 till 10:00 is really hard to catch the table outside. Life is made of simple things, where toilet paper quality matters…the soft one with few layers will be definitely better than the one which is used in the hotel now.
