Not warning us to avoid Zagrebacki taxi - Zagreb taxi i transfer on the streets, as they charge 4-5 times more than normal taxis and do not warn costumers in advance (and calling the police does not help). Their cabs can be identified by the castle logo on top of the car.

Fantastic hotel - beautiful as soon as you enter. Our room was large, lots of space and super comfortable. Lots of towels and cosy bed. Hairdryers, slippers and dressing gowns provided. Great powerful shower too. The gym is great, we didnt use it this time but its quite large and has loads of top equipment and its really spacious and clean. We did use the swimming pool and sauna which was great. It does tend to get a bit busy in the pool but it was really lovely and has 2 saunas too. We also opted to get a massage, normal prices and it was ok. The location is excellent, around 20 mins away from the airport by taxi, and Zagreb has Bolt and Uber so its certainly convenient. Its also about a 15 min walk into the main bit of lower town, though there are plenty of nearby amenities. Ideal location for us. Staff were really friendly. Always helpful and so nice. On our last day, they extended our check out by a few hours for free. We still had about 4 hours before our flight and they gave us access to use the pool facilities even though we had checked out. The unexpected highlight was that every day at around 6pm/7pm, room service would come round with some complimentary chocolates and water. It was so cute and would always make my evening. If we weren't in, they would leave it in our room :)

Everything was great. The only small issue I had was that the pillows were a bit too soft and uncomfortable, but I wouldnt rate the hotel lower for that.

Pool is cosy but has bad odour, lockers did not worked. Bed was on wheels and it was moving all time during sleep. Tables in breakfast full of plates and glasses. It was written that they serve Halal food but it is not possible if you serve together with pork or if you cook the food in the same plates with pork meat. Every day same food. It was not written ingredients in meals so you have to ask if you do not eat some specific meals due to sever reasons beside allergy Heating system could not be set and it was very hot during night and if you open window it was noisy as railroad is in close distance Why it is 5 star hotel is question?

The hotel was very nice and minutes away from the city core. We were greeted by Kristian who was very professional and surprised us by including breakfast during our stay which was very appreciated especially after we had it the following day, it was a great breakfast of hot and cold offering including a fresh egg station. Our room was nice and our cleaning lady made sure we had all that we needed. We even had room service during our stay and it was good and delivered quickly.

Our only dissapointment was that the pool was closed for renovations and we always choose hotels with pools to relax our legs after a long day of walking and we missed that!

Staff was exceptionally accommodating and helpful (particularly Vlado in the dining room). Our son has a food allergy and he went out of his way to get food prepared separately to prevent any problems, was very friendly and helpful. We are frequent travellers who have stayed at many hotels throughout the world, and I must say that the food was of a high quality and service was excellent.

The property was undergoing renovations for the gym and pool so we needed to travel to the Sheraton for those amenities (however this was temporary and the shuttle service was very good).

Great room size (junior suite) and view (12th floor), large bed, both a shower and a bathtub, and an additional separate toilet. It's also clean and the staff are very friendly. The hotel is close to the city centre, even for a family with a toddler, we didn't need our car. Also the tram station is very close to the hotel.

Outdoor parking is a bit confusing and crowded (people park outside of designated spots, likely due to lack of spaces), and it's not free. The pool is underwhelming as well, and you have to go through the gym to get there.

I liked the location, the breakfast was great, the gym and the pool so advance for a hotel gym, and I really loved how they care about their customers, I had to leave at 6 am and I told them I won't make it for breakfast so they asked me if I am allergic from anything or have a special diet, told them just Halal food and in the morning at 5:45 am I found that they prepared a breakfast box written Halal next to it! really appreciated it 🙏🏻

Counter staff very helpful and friendly . Taught us how to take the tram to our car rental place to pick up our car next morning.

Housekeeping staff entered room without knocking, which gave us a rude shock, as we were changing. They should know we’ve checked in, also, regardless if we’re in room or not, they should have knocked. Also, 1 room was charged the cost of vodka from mini fridge, which we didn’t take nor consume. This would have been avoided if check-out staff checked with us if we had consumed anything from mini bar, which is SOP. And usually they would have gotten housekeeping to check before we left hotel. So the charge of €29 to my card was rather unpleasant, but Hotel staff quickly responded and resolved this after we highlighted BOTH issues and our unhappiness, which we are very grateful and pleased, and it greatly restored our confidence in this 5 star hotel again 👍🏻 😅

We have been upgraded (for free) to an apartment. Thank you, Westin! Beds extremely comfortable (as advertised, now proven). Position: walking distance to the city old center (about 1.2 km, maybe 10 min walk). Staff: extremely helpful and friendly. Parking: somehow, I got it free. Barrier was open when I’ve arrived, opened when I exited (one week later). Breakfast: almost perfect, thank you. Cleanliness: almost perfect. We had a corporate conference organized here for 1 day and everything was well executed.

We have spent two nights in the Westin hotel. The room was spacy and clean, the beds comfortable. We enjoyed that we were able to tilt the window open, despite the 10th floor, which is a great plus over some other hotels. The staff at the reception and in the bar area were professional and polite. Both, the dinner on April 1st and the lunch on April 2nd were of excellent quality. We would particularly like to highlight the waiter's excellent service at our lunch on April 2nd. He was very hospitable and served us extremely courteously. This breed of attentive waiter is unfortunately dying out and we will therefore keep special memories of this lunch.

We have no criticism, only a small suggestion: we would have been happy about two separate blankets in our double bed...
