The hotel is a wonderful historic building- grand and lavish. The staff are brilliant- they are extremely professional. The rooms are very comfortable - beds and large bath. Note- you need to ask for a kettle if you like to make tea, but the staff were very helpful.and happy to provide one. The breakfast was exceptionally good- frankfurts, bacon, mushrooms, pickled fish Pancakes, croissants and the most delicious porridge. Lots of tasty fresh fruit and vegetables too. Honestly excellent breakfast, and the room is very impressive as well. Only thing to watch out for is that the room gets very busy on weekends. I recommend getting there early if you prefer it to be quiet.

Nil, it was a great experience

We’ve known it for many years and have seen it from almost post communist to it’s very different modern state. We have had a small suite for the past few years which has been very good. We arrived this year when the temperature was high 30s and discovered the area where most of the suites are situated has no AC. The hotel immediately offered to transfer us - to the biggest suite I have ever seen, and for which we were very grateful

The fact the hotel group decided to shut the restaurant post Covid. The hotel manager laments this. Hopefully the group will come to their senses, do the promised upgrade and reopen the restaurant. Having dinner in another building at the far end of the hotel is a great backwards step.

It is a nice old hotel situated in the center of Liberec. Everything is in the walk distance. Room was nice and comfy while breakfast was ok with enough variety for two day stay. Private parking is right Infront of the hotel and it was easy to reach it.

On the 2nd day of my stay, it happened that they made a mistake by giving the same code key and room to some other guest by mistake. I know that its a solid breach of guest privacy and it could have lead to different outcome, but the staff addressed the issue on high professional level and quickly resolved the problem and that is why I'm not giving them lower scores. On the other side, giving a same room key and room to two different guests is problematic issue and I hope they will never repeat the mistake. Now I even think that I missed an opportunity to get some free complementary things. :D

Good location, close to Old Town. Staff was very friendly and checked in me 1 hour earlier as my room was already ready. Room was clean. Comfortable bed. Decent breakfast, there were not a lot of options, but everything was tasty, except juice diluted with water... Good sound proof, except doors into neighbour's room. Old and beautiful building outside and inside.

During check-in reception worker didn't tell anything about wellness center in hotel. WiFi was not very strong in the room (room 322). Not very comfy pillow for my neck. There was a doors between my room and neighbours, sound proof because of that was not the best, I was woken up by neighbors having sex and moaning at night 🙉

I want to thank Ondrej and Anezka for helping us with what we needed.There is great breakfast whit many options to choose from and rooms are quite confy...hard to find in czech republic

Sauna is for extra fee ..I think it should be free or at least 1/2 price for hotel guests...few minutes from hotel are much cheaper and better options to go for sauna than this.

The location is very good - close to the beautiful main square of the city as well as places to eat or shop and opposite a nice park. The interior design is stylish and consistent throughout the hotel. Very good breakfast.

The bathroom needs minor repairs - the shower hose was leaking. There was also a problem with the shower cabin door.

Everything was good (except one thing): nice room (small but cute), good bed, nice bathroom, beautiful hotel itself - exceptional design. Nice breakfast - good variety. Good choice of drinks for breakfast (which is rare). I can not tell that the reception managers were friendly. Oh well. Although I appreciate that they let us stay or hour more (after check out time), because we had to finish our calls. Location is exceptional - literally 5 minutes to the main square.

The handle in a bathroom was broken. The huge disappointment for me was the fact that the parking was not for free. The price is around 16-18 euros (400 czk). And in general it is ok to ask money for everything, but no one in the reception desk even noticed that. They registered car and kept silence. if you are in a 4* hotel and receptionist does not tell you a word about the paid parking - I suppose it to be free. It was a huge disappointment in the morning which ruined the whole nice aftertaste about the hotel. And the reception manager was rude.

Perfect location - close to the city, no car needed so we could let it there. Breakfast was good although at least half of it was only warmed up.

Cleaning can be a little bit better but no reason to complain. If you wanna search for something, you‘ll always find something.

Good location - totally in the city center. Good breakfast - wide choice of food. There is a good restaurant for dinner as well. Nice and helpful staff, cozy room.

Not enough parking places. There is no comment that reservation for a car parking is needed when booking the room. It can happen that you need to park a car somewhere when you come later in the evening.

Excellent location. Nice old building. Very good (and fresh) breakfast, even though fully booked, there was still enough staff to refill and clear tables. Staff was friendly, too.

The hotel was fully booked, there was no more available parking at the front, and sometimes lines formed at the two tiny elevators. The beds were very soft, my back did not like it at all.
