The hostel is close to the main railway station. I got a bigger room than I booked. Full equipped kitchen. I could leave my suitcase the day I checked out.

Prices for accommodation in Czech Republic are set in euros on booking but once you get to the hotel it turns out that they can't charge you in euros nor do they accept Euros in cash. They convert the price into check crowns according to the official rate but that rate is different from the bureau de change and if you pay with card, you pay commission for the currency exchange commission. The only way to pay the amount mentioned on booking is by paying in advanced.

The place was nice to stay at for a weekend in Ostrava. The position was perfect in terms of walking from the train station, but conversely not the best one in terms of distance to the City center. The personell were friendly with great knowledge about local attractions worth to see, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had all facilities you needed to cook and store your own food.

The reception was only open for four hours every day, so to arrive on time was crucial in order to check in. The kitchen was not the largest one, and it became inconvenient when multiple guests were cooking at the same time. The refrigerator was filled up, and old food was still stored there. With a better system in place for storing the food, the grade would increase one point from my side.

The hostel is really old but has a vibe, the owner is super nice and helpful. He helped me to discover the city a lot. If you don't mind that the building is old and not renovated you could enjoy your stay here.

The bathroom and showers are shared by tooo many people and there are a lot of people hanging in the corridor which made me a bit uncomfortable.

I'm not sure if they were the owners, but the woman and man were so nice. I had early train and without a problem they checked me in, for which I'm thankful. Room was alright, surprised me that the in-room bathroom had no door. There's kitchen with everything you need. Great location, close to train station and literally next to tram stop which is very convenient when getting to the city centre.

WiFi was a bit slow. It wasn't a problem for me but some might find it noisy when being right next to tram stop.

Excellent location close to the railway station and within a walking distance to the city center. The guy in the reception was incredible, he had even prepared beforehand a citymap for me making the effort to mark suggestions about what to do and where to eat and drink in Finnish language! My room was very beautiful with old style furniture and had interesting history related with it: one of the Habsburgs had stayed overnight in the room in 1899.

Comfy bed, very clean room, kitchen with all necessary equipment. Good location, very close to the tram stop (so easy to get to the city center) and close to the railway station. Nice and interesting guy in the reception. :) All that at an affordable price.

At night it can be a little noisy due to trams passing by very close to the window, It was a bit difficult to sleep with window open at night. Earplugs reccomended. Bathroom in the room a bit funny.

The best hostel host ever! Really cares about the customer. He made my days and deserves the highest of salaries🙂

Its simple in style but its good enough

I liked how friendly the staff were, and the location close to the main train station. All of the facilities were clean and well supplied. A very convenient location also helped.

It was great value for money - the bed was comfortable, bathrooms (although shared) were cleaner than you would normally expect. The staff was amazing!

Helpful reception, easy check in, delicious breakfast 👍😎

Everything was perfect, except we were assured we will have a fantastic sea view from the room and there was only view on the local street with brown seagulls... 😋
