Very friendly staff, good communications before my stay regarding reception hours (I was arriving late and departing early at the end of my stay). Very good breakfast with a packed version offered for my early departure. The meal we had in the restaurant was excellent, both the steak and the pork tenderloin with a tasty chicken broth to start washed down with a local rosé. Hotel is about ten minutes walk from the main railway station.

Welcome bottled water changed every day in room but little else done - maybe I kept it very tidy!

The room was functional in design, but modern, recently refurbished and most importantly clean. Despite close proximity to the main train station, the hotel is located in a quiet street, and while the sound of the trams (but not the trains) can be heard, it did not stop me from sleeping even with the window open (and I'm a light sleeper). Coffee and tea were provided in the room, as well as a couple of bottles of water, highly appreciated on a hot summer's day. The breakfast was more than adequate, with a selection of breads, sweet croissants, yoghurt, fruit, cooked meats and cheeses. The in-hotel restaurant - also accessible to the public - served up some excellent fare, notably the smoked salmon starter and veal ragout. Very very hard to beat in terms of value for money.

Very nice hotel with a lovely staff. Great breakfast with plenty of options - I was only missing some plant based milk - but i was happy to see some gluten-free bread, vegetables, cereals… The tram is nearby to reach any place in the city.

I did not mind but mentioning it for travellers: you can hear people in the corridors and the church is making noise around 7:45 so forget it if you want to have to sleep late :) Small suggestion for the hotel : add a kettle and a mirror in the bedroom :)

I was supposed to be arriving after 1600 when reception staff would not be available. I pointed this out and I was given all the necessary information to access the hotel. However, the football match I was intending going to disappeared from the fixture list, so I arrived before 1600. The English speaking lady on reception was very helpful in helpong me decide where to go for an evening meal. The hotel was only about 10 minutes walk from Ostrava Hlavni Nadrazi, and easy to find.

Breakfast was just ok. Glad it was included as I wouldn't have been too happy if I had to pay for it. Ostrava the city wasn't really anything to write home about(not a reflection on the hotel). However Forum, in the city was excellent for a meal and a wander around on a cold misty eastern European night.

I really liked the place, close to the train station, renovated with cute design and very nice and professional stuff. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. As I had to leave early before breakfast starting time they even prepared small bag with breakfast for my trip, this was so nice gesture. There is also really pretty restaurant. Bed were comfortable and all area is very clean.

No AC in my room and it was a hot day but there was a fan which is great

This is a nice hotel just over five minutes walk from ostrava hl.n. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The room was large and comfortable with a good ensuite. The food in the restaurant was good. The Pikard beer was really good. Good breakfast with hot and cold food

There is no lift so I will ask for a first floor room next time There is no air conditioning but that wasn't a problem

Likes for the guest-oriented team, who try to make things happen. Two examples: There's no A/C (obviously, it's Ostrava...), but fans are being provided. The reception is not staffed 24/7 - it's not a huge 500 room hotel. But they have a workaround in place for late arrivals. Small things maybe, but they make a difference. The difference.

The location: reasonably close to the train station, close to tram stops, on a tree-lined side street. The bedroom was quite spacious and surprisingly quiet (I don't know whether because of good sound insulation or because my neighbours were quiet). It was convenient too that there is a restaurant on the ground floor.

missing wardrobe in the room, located on the outskirts if the city with "bronx" suburbs, but this is Ostrava - we did not mind

We enjoyed our stay a lot and felt very welcome! The hotel is very nice - the rooms look very new and the walls are thick. We slept very well. It is close to the tram station, and it was very quiet at night. There is also a restaurant in the hotel which we can also recommend, very tasty!
